I recently joined the 3 part e-cig world and did a lot of research on using my V4L batteries with the DSE901 atty & cart. Everything I read agreed that the threads were compatible and the only problem , requiring an adapter, was with using a V4L cart on the DSE901 battery. I screwed my KR808D onto the DSE901 atty and found that it would not fire the atty. On close inspection , and comparison of the DSE901 battery and KR808D battery, I found the the battery Post, the little brass post on the non-LED end of the battery is reset on the KR808D battery in comparison to the flush post on the DSE901 battery. I think that the post does not connect to the atty post properly. I searched to see if there was an adapter but did not find any such thing on this form. Has anyone encountered this problem and is there a fix for it. I'm not a machinist or that handy so please spare me the mod advise that would have me milling adapters or modifying the existing atty or battery.

Mesa, AZ...off the analogs for years!
They should work together. You don't need an adapter.

Try gently lifting the center post of the batt for a better contact.

Use a binder clip (remove the black part and just use the clip).

I did this for several batts I had (901's and KR's) that would fire some attys/cartos and not others and it works like a charm.

If you have an atty....

I've used 901 atties on my KR batteries many times and never had an issue. Well, I've found that the automatic KR batteries don't work so well because with some autos you have to suck on the atty super hard to activate the auto-battery. But I've never had trouble on my manual KR batteries...

Like the previous poster mentioned - you can try raising the battery post. I use a thumb tack or a safety pin and stick it in each of the air holes to lever the battery post up. Only reason I've ever done this is because I had a batch of KR batteries that weren't making connection with any atty at all.

Thanks! Neo is really Constantine in the pic but that was too long. Besides, I like Neo better...but it's all Keanu so it's all good.

Back to the problem now....

Ahh...I figured it might have been him holding the red pill or something with a cig edited into the photo. Now I remember Constantine, forgot about that one.
