DSE901/KR808D-1 parts interchangable?

I'm sure the answer is mentioned somewhere and i apologize, but i am having a hard time just getting a yes/no find. (ie: 901 bat w/kr808 cartomizer ok? and kr808 bat w/901 atty ok?).

The threading is the same but because of the air intakes you need an adapter to run a cartomizer on the 901. Seek out vendors that sell those adapters. Eg.:

I can't comment on the Kr8 cartomizer on a 901 battery, but I'm vaping a 901 atomizer on a Kr8 battery right now without any problem.
