Figurehead: Thee have been a couple of reports of cracked bowls in the Part Two review of the DSE601 by asidrave. I have a rippled area about an inch long in the same area as your crack. It leads me to believe these are actually made of wood and the cracking appears to run with the grain. And yes, any
juice that does not get vaped collects at the bottom of the bowl which can easily seep out a crack depending upon the orientation of the pipe. I am guessing the combinations of heating, cooling and liquid must put stress on the bowl.
If you got the pipe through ruyan, you have a one year warranty on it. If not, check the warranty from your supplier.
As to repair, you have several options. First, in my opinion, would be to stop the bowl crack from widening. You would have to find a mechanical version of a band-aid to keep the crack from widening. Patchng could be done with Bondo or JB Weld. The bowl will never be as pretty as it was, but you get to seal it up and keep it
vaping.
Let us know what you do to fix it up.
P.S. I don't think I can answer any question briefly
