Cracked door repair advice

If I have a mod that is cracked like your door I will break it in half completely. Gorilla glue is perfect black palm is a nightmare to work with depending on the wood some of it is easier and your are correct FB sanding it smooth is no fun . I wont buy black palm again unless I can hold it in my had and inspect it .

If it doesn't work out well for you when I am making the new wood mods I can make another door for your mod if I have more of the black palm in stock . Chances are I can find a piece

I appreciate that offer and at first I thought, I've got this no problem. But the crack that starts as one and then diverges has caused me to pause for a bit. I very well may be taking you up on the offer.

I feel your pain FB!
I dropped my Big Kahuna ( Koa woodvil) last week! It landed on the atty which in turn cracked the top where the catch cup is. Now the whole 510 connection/catch cup is loose and spins around. I was totally bummed!! I sent it out to Rob this weekend to see if he could work any magic. That Koa is my baby and 1 of a kind. Hopefully Rob can get it back to at least working condition.No more woodies out of the house, home use only!
I love the battery life of the 18650 as I only have had minis other than Big Kahuna. I may have to break down and finally buy a Grand! Fighting the urge to get one now or to wait for the mechanical woodvils which brings me back to my original dilemma of taking woodies out and about but being afraid of dropping it again!

I was under the impression that for fine woodwork, you would use a hide glue, rather than a polyurethane glue like Gorilla Glue... Good luck!
