Hi sorry I haven't been keeping up with hardware for two years. I have a $25 DNA30 hana box mod clone from fasttech for 2 years which has given zero issues even after being dropped a few times, but I want a new mod before regulations potentially ruin vaping cost and availability and to keep this DNA30 as back up.
I vape single coil in a basic RDA dripper. I find it possibly a bit harsher than the original protank I was using but I kept having gurgle or burnt issues with the Protank and switched to an RDA. I think maybe it's because the coil is so much closer to the tip with the RDA vs a bottom coil that I think the Protank had actually better/smoother flavor. Anyway. I am getting a handful of tanks and RDAs also (still have to do a lot of research).
I want to make big clouds but never got into it. I tried dual coil but just was too hot or something to produce any vapor. I vape %100VG low mg so it shouldn't be too harsh but I don't know if I'll want to blow clouds as an all-day vape if it's going to be too hot or harsh. I vape basically low heat 10Watts single 2ohm coilsilica or cotton.
What are some cheap but good mods that can do both I guess, both clouds or something basic like a single coil 2ohm 10Watts? I basically just don't want to kill the batteries fast by using something that has too much or too little wattage output but I know nothing about all that. Nothing too too large, my DNA30 box is about the size of a pack of cigs and only one battery but they probably could have made it dual 18650. What batteries also do you recommend? I have one Samsung INR18650-25R SDI for like 2 years and it's till going strong although I do use it as passthrough in car or at the computer. It cost as much as the MOD but that's ok.
Edit, looks like I can just get any $50 150-200 watt mod and use that for something like a sub ohm TFV4 (dual / quad) tank and also rebuild the TFV4 to have a single 1.8ohm coil if the clouds are too much for everyday vaping and just use much lower wattage, no? The battery will last much longer using a single 1.8 ohm coil at 10 watts, vs something like 100 watts, right?
Edit again: I don't really need advice unless you feel so inclined to. I just recently discovered Temperature control mods and think that's what I want, and will just figure this out on my own. I still have to find tanks and RDAs, I have a list of like 40 of them, will take ~10 hours to narrow it all down and learn what's new. then the box mod another ~10 hours.
