Would wiring dual 18650's (Sony VTC5) be better than a LiPo pack or dual LiPo packs?
I think I read somewhere wiring batteries in general in parallel offer better performance than single cells (single 18650), I guess less strain on 2 batteries vs 1 single battery, but are the LiPo's more efficient in general? do they last longer (more vape time) or about the same? Obviously the 18650's are easier to change, depending on the enclosure they are easily replaceable in the event they are drained or whatever... but I'd like to ask the experts.

With running multiple batteries on dna boards, input voltage requires 4.2vax so youre going to have to wire them in parallel.
Yes wiring the batteries in parallel will be less stress because of the increased combined amperage discharge. I actually have 2 lipo battery packs (wired in parallel of course) powering my dna30 device. I also purchased the charging board so I dont need to worry about changing our batteries. I run my kayfun with a 0.7ohm setup on it at 15w and it lasts me a good 3 or 4 days.

All my current mods are single 18650 tubes (semovar and futura dna20) and I easily go thru 2x 650's a day, sometimes more if I'm up late watching tv or working, etc.....

My initial plan was user swappable 18650's, but it seems LiPo pack's are more efficient at a given mAh rating vs 18650's? so now I'm unsure.
