Dual Airflow Slots on the Kanger SubTank Mini?

I've seen it pop up in a couple places that KangerTech's apparently making rolling changes to the SubTank Mini and manufacturing it with dual adjustable air slots as opposed to its typical single slot. Does anyone know anything more about this? I've emailed KangerTech and am waiting for their reply, but has anyone beaten me to the punch and gotten the scoop on this?

Upgrading air flow base of SUBTANK Plus and Mini

Well, I think they updated the mini airflow base to be the same as the new Subtank Plus airflow base...I have both, the Plus and the older mini...the plus has a little more airflow potential and is a little quieter...but it is a subtle change, nothing night and day...

Just wanted to let you know that I spoke with a CS rep at vapordna.com who said that their stock of the subtank minis has the new dual airflow slots. Haven't ordered one yet in hopes of finding it a few bucks cheaper. I read that myfreedomsmokes.com has them as well, but I'm still waiting on their reply to confirm it as they're about $5 less than vapordna.com

All four of the mini's I have ordered from evape have been the dual airflow versions. Their price is $32.99 and they come with the pack of all the color silicone seals. They are in the process of moving to a new location currently per an email I received last night so there will be a slight delay in shipping. "We are in the process of relocating our offices and will be holding all shipments received starting Wednesday, April 29th at 2pm EST and will resume shipping on Tuesday, May 5th." Their price is slightly cheaper than what I paid for my first two (one from vapordna and the other from mvs) and they are in PA making the shipping to me in Ohio really quick. I have only placed orders over $50 for free priority shipping, first class is free over $25.

I ordered two from VaporDNA and both subtank mini's DID NOT have dual airflow. It was kind of a bummer.

Ordered 2 of the upgraded dual airflow for my subtank mini's from myepack.co.uk (I am in the UK). I cannot notice any significant increase in airflow compared to the single slot as the two slots on the new one are smaller than the one slot on the older style.

It may make for a "more even" draw of air to the coil but I can't really notice much difference to be honest.
