Dual-coil cartomizers: cloying taste with fruit flavors

Bought some new Smoktech XL dual coil cartomizers and fired a couple up with different juices. My first impression of these wasn't great - all I tasted in the fruit flavors was a sickly sweet taste reminiscent of aspartame or something like that.

Anyone else notice something similar? Are these better for richer flavors like tobacco, etc.?

I found when I first filled one with a caramel tobacco it tasted funny. until it settled in. took a while but the taste levelled off. was more liked a flooded taste at first to me

it could be the battery you are running them on doesn't have the sufficient power to cook the juice in em-
i have that prob with Dual Coils...work like dooky for me-have a few sitting around leftover for when i get a VV..
