Dual coil dripping atomizers Air hole question

Hey, I was thinking of getting either the v5 or igo-w rda's off of fasttech. I understand that when putting the cap of the atty over the deck you are supposed to line the hole up with the coil. SO my question is regarding a dual coil setup, if there is only 1 airhole but it is a dual coil setup would it be worth while drilling another hole to correspond with the second coil? Or is 1 hole sufficient for both?

if your running duel coils of a low or sub ohm resistance you should have 2 air holes. most the factory air holes on RDAs are tiny so i drill them out. you might get away with only one air hole if the coils have a high resistance like 3 ohms, but i don't think it will vape well.

Definitely drill another hole. I have an IGO-W wit 2 holes and love it.

be careful to start small - test - go up a size - test - etc

I trashed my first one due to drilling too large of a hole and it looks really crappy with the JB weld on it now

If you feel you need to drill a new hole try to figure out the size of the first hole. Most Atties you buy pre-drilled are at 1/8 on the drill bit. A good place to start. Wont give you too much air, but enough to get a nice cloud if your sub ohm. Also make sure to line the holes with your coils. Makes a massive difference.

Ok thanks for all the feedback, i think ill start by drilling a hole about the same size as the original one to match up with the second coil. and as far as resistance goes, im probably going to set it up so that its around 1.2-1.5 ohms. And does anybody have any experience with the v5 or igo w from fasttech? Ive heard good things about both and am still not sure which to get.

Can you use two coils on one air hole. I don't own a drill but own an igo-L and want to Try dual coils. I can stack them on too of eachother I guess but am I still able to do a normal dual coil set up like one on each side but only one 1/16 air hole.
