I would try both. What I like about the dual coil cartos is they hold more juice. The clear dual coil cartos are easy to clean and I don't normally clean cartos, I throw them away. The down side with dual coil cartos is the price- they they cost more, they wear down your battery faster, and some more delicate juices they tend to mute the flavor.

Some of my clear PG juice is great in a dual coil carto. My peach juice I use the boge cartos. Flavor is a little lacking in the dual coil carto.

I notice that the dual coils give a better hit with a bit more flavor. The only other carto I have tried is a ce2 though so I am not an "experienced" carto user really. I just use them when I go out of the house.

My mother feels the same way you do with tobacco flavors. She likes the dual coils much better.

I haven't had too much experience with them. I picked up a 5 pack of them from litecigusa. I haven't tried them with anything other than my Riva, but I didn't like it compared to the single. I think it burns hotter and I could kind of taste the carto filler. It was nasty to me. But - you may like them and it might have just been the ones from litecigusa. I'll give them another go later on down the road.

Good thinking on ordering backups though. You can never have enough.

Hi Anima - The Dual Coils are designed to give one the benefit of two coils in parallel that heats the juice. This usually means that one could get good vapor production with shorter draws (or more vapor with the same draws) The theory behind this is very good, however the problem is that it taps the battery power much quicker as it takes more current (amps) out of the battery.

Most off-the-shelf e-cigs have a switch that limits the current to 2-amps and can therefore not handle the higher amperage. The result is that you would either get no response from the e-cig or that the switch might be damaged. Dual and triple coil Carts should usually be used with a "Mod" that has been designed for much higher currents. These "Mods" would also usually recommended for use with High-drain batteries.

I hope this helps.

Oh, another thing. You are probably going to want low resistance ones if you are not using them on a mod. I have one that is 1.5 ohm and it works great on an ego battery. Most of them are low but you might find some that are 2.0 ohm or so and those might not be able to pull enough power from a smaller battery.

Not really. Taps earlier, yes. Much quicker, no. Plus, whatever is sacrificed in batt charge duration is made up for in more vapor, flavor and TH. And as you said, less draw for the same vape.

I luv da duals!

Just a warning, dual coils (while awesome) are said to shorten the life of Riva/ego type batteries due to the 1.5 ohm resistance. Boge 2.0 cartos are great as well. Both duals and boge LR can be purchased cheaply at crystalclearvaping.com for cheap and free shipping.

I just got 15 boge cartos and 2 drip tips for $20 and free shipping. Thanks!

my experience of dual coils are mentioned above they hold 2 and a half times more liquid compared to boge 2.0 cartos.

I reckon they taste the same.

However they do use the battery faster that said if you purchase a higher maH battery you will not notice the difference I still get 12hours use on a ego 900 mAH battery and riva 1100mah battery when I use a dual coil

I am of the belief with the majority of e cig experiences you really have to experience it yourself as you may adore them and your friend / partner may detest them

Dual coils are the first cartomizers that I've tried that have been as satisfactory as LR dripping. I'm sure you'll like them. As for killing batteries, I've been using the 1.5ohm almost exclusively on eGos, Rivas and assorted clones for a couple of months now with no ill effects. Your milage may vary, but they don't seem to be the killers they are labeled as.

And I definitely agree with Xirokx that you won't really know whether it's right for you until you try it.
