If the single punched cartomizer is working for you then, you should stick with it. Since you said that those are hard to find, a double punched cartomizer shouldn't be a problem. It will probably perform better since wicking is an issue with dual coiled cartomizers. Only possible downside is if they were punched incorrectly. Which may lead to flooding.

You might want to consider punching them yourself. It isn't hard to do and you'll save money in the long run.

I only use dual punch myself. I started out with single but had a couple that didnt wick to well. What I found with a dual punch is that the liquid will flow thru the hole with the least resistance. Or so it seems.

The down side being as Unforseen mentioned about flooding. I usualy vape 70/30 or 60/40 and havent had real problems. Dual punch is my preference and its hard to say what is good for someone else. So give it a try and see how it works for you and your juice.
