So,

I've been using the dual coil tank from madvapes. Seems pretty good quality and whatnot. Anyway, I filled up the tank, then filled up the carto inside, and it was great for a while. Now, though, I've been using it for almost 2 full days and the amount of juice in the tank has barely gone down, and the flavor is getting worse.

Is there a chance the hole in the carto is too small? Maybe the juice I'm using is too thick? I'm not sure the pg/vg on the juice, their website doesn't say (gatorvapor). It just seems like the juice isn't absorbing through the hole and into the carto material.

Thanks

Your juice may well be a little thick to wick properly . You can try and thin down a bit of it (small amount ) and see if that helps it to wick better . Short of that , you can try modding the carto's for better results . Hopefully someone on the forums that have used those , can point you in the right direction . Good luck .

It is possible that your liquid is too thick. Try taking a few hard primer puffs and look for bubbles coming out of the hole in the carto. If you see bubbles that is usually a good sign. Suck until you do not see any more bubbles and try vaping again. If you do not see bubbles that means you juice is not wicking well and you may need a bigger hole. If you don't have tools handy I suggest getting a saddle valve at home depot or lowes for 8$.

I have one of the MV tanks and have not had a problem with wicking. If it feeds too slowly I take a few hard quick draws without pushing the button, problem solved. If the carto gets too much juice, slide the tank up about 1/8 inch to block the hole, vape for a while 'till it needs replenishment, slide the tank back down.

I haven't messed with drilling, punching, modding it at all and am happily vaping 50/50 DIY for 2 weeks on the same carto, no burning, great flavor and vapor.....

ya first time i used a tank i assumed it automatically draw juice into the carto as id vape, i think the carto lasted 2 days and stopped, filler inside was dry, weird thing was still pulling vapor from it like normal....but obviously i was suppose to suck some juice in occationally......the hole is kinda small though on th prepunched ones, they just came out recently so im sure if enough people have issue they will revise, if not, no big deal beause the dc's + tank are great

I used a rotary tool and a bit to enlarge the holes. But having 2 holes one on each side works the best for me. I might try slotting the cartos and see if its any better.

Here's another tip.. I hate when the carto gets hot then it will shoot hot liquid into my tongue! I found a solution to this problem! I inserted a small donut ring that came with my CE2 tanks into the carto and bam! No more hot liquid shooting in my tongue!

I use this to make the hole bigger, and if it's dual coil I make another hole a little higher opposite side to feed the upper coil.
