Hey all, i'm new here. Long time creeper, so i'm glad to finally get on here and post.

Basically, is this possible or has anyone tried it? I have a UD AGI genesis rba, and there are three posts , with a refill hole the same size as the normal hole the wick is supposed to go down into by the other negative end. I was thinking about maybe building a twin coil so there are two mesh wicks going at the same time.

i just built a horizontal coil with just a small pad of cotton underneath it, sandwiched between the coil and the hole without the cotton actually going into it. the cotton is basically drenched by holding the mod horizontally. It has been the most successful coil build to date as far as vapor production, and dont want to mess with it until i hear some feedback.

I could be mistaken, but it appears that the AGI is drilled and designed for single coil operation... in theory, you could use the fill hole as a wick hole, and if theyre hollow wicks they *might* wick ok. But the cap, imo, would have to be drilled to accomodate.

but as far as mesh goes, I strongly perfer it to cotton or even, dare I say, silica. However, mesh takes a bit of playing before it settles right.

Currently, I run a kraken with dual coils on 400 SS Mesh. Each coil has 7 wraps of 0.7x0.1mm ribbon, for a total resistance of about 0.69 ohms. on my nemesis, it chucks vapor like crazy. I *had* a 0.49 ohm build similar, but it was over productive (waaaaay too much juice being used, got me sick cuz I took it to my lungs XD)

When you get ready to assemble it, you want to roll your mesh. in your case, if you want em hollow, use a paperclip to roll it. you want the wick to be able to slide easily in the hole, not loose enough to fall out, but not tight. personally, I dont oxidize my wicks, thats personal preference. I also wrap my coil off mod, I find its easier. assemble like a normal mod, with the mesh wick in the coil. Once assembled, check resistance ot make sure you have no shorts, then pulse. You want to make sure the coil isnt shorting to the wick, and ultimately you want the coil to heat from the inside out and evenly, with no hot legs. sometimes you mayb have to brush the wicks as you heat them, sometimes you have to pulse it for several minutes, jsut dont let things get *too* hot. after that, just fill the tank and tilt upside down until the wicks are saturated. Test fire to make sure its wicking properly, and youre good to go. Unless my kraken gets to 1/3rd of a tank, I dont even need to tilt while vaping, it jsut keeps on wicking like a champ

hope it helps, everyone has their way of building genesis attys but that has worked best for me ^^

Also, I'd try a single coil build first if youre not familiar with mesh. 1 coil has less things ot go wrong vs 2, not to mention again that the agi seems ot be designed for single coil operation. my 2 cents

EDIT: Also make sure the wick isnt touching anything inside the tank (center post, bottom, etc). This can cause the wick to ground out and cause a short.

The way you have it set up currently is more commonly known as an "auto dripper" setup. That's the way I prefer to use my gennys, honestly.

Also, as far as the whole dual coil thing goes... I wouldn't recommend it, since if I'm not mistaken the UD AGI only has 4 holes (2 screw holes, wick hole, fill hole). Without another hole to keep the tank open, having wicks in both holes (and screws in the other 2) will cause a sort of vacuum to form in the tank and it'll be harder for juice to be wicked into your coils.

Here's a top view off it. It has a fill hole and a wick hole, both of which can be plugged with those little allen head screws, one ground screw in the base, and two posts.

And yeah I've messed with mesh wicks, but wasn't satisfied. I probably didn't have a very clean build any of those times though even though I followed directions similar to yours. To tell you the truth I haven't even been satisfied with this genesis as a whole until I did the auto driller method yesterday for the first time. Thanks btw, I didn't realize that's what it was called.

So you say the hole that isn't a wick hole needs to stay open? I plug the fill hole everytime and haven't had suction problems or whatever with it

Thanks for the advice guys
