kind of confusing. if you're using vv, why would you use a dual coil? what is a dual coil made for? i have a pro vari, and i had asked around what was best to use in terms of carto tanks, and 3 out of 3 well known reviewers recommended i go single coil all the way, and at 3 ohms. what would be the reason for that suggestion, other than the obvious fact that i should be able to vape as high a voltage as i want to. the single coil 3 ohm pre punched ones are working great for my tanks. i'm just curious what dual coils are all about and if they serve any purpose that a single coil doesn't.

on a side note, can you tell whether you've got a single coil or dual coil carto by looking at it or something? how would you know?
