I wish you luck on getting both to fire evenly unless you try a sleeper build (1 wire with both coil wraps on it), but also good luck with building that as well.
You can build them but you will have to use 30AWG wire to get the resistance in the right range for temp control devices (especially DNA40). Otherwise your coils are going to be huge and require 15+ wraps each.

It can be done with a tank. It's actually really simple.

if your using simple coils (ie not claptons) then your priority is getting over 0.1 ohm which is easiest with 30awg and higher

12 wraps either side 30 awg is a nice and warm vape ( or rather a temperature preset appropriate vape )

I didn't know if he wanted to get over .10. A lot of these new TC devices are going down to .05. TC has solved the heat issue... You can do a low ohm build and still vape it cool or hot.

I find this to only be true when using more complex builds (twists or claptons) for the most part straight wire should hover above 0.1 in my experience

I love twisted kanthal and nickel for doing dual coils for TC. Have been running dual coils in my Goliath since I got my IPV4, and have been using 32g ni200 twisted with 0.4mm kanthal ribbon (what I believe is called a tiger coil). The kanthal adds some durability and support to the thin, soft nickel wire, but has little to no effect on resistance since electricity takes the path of least resistance, which is the nickel. 5 wraps, 2mm id comes out to about 0.075ohm and gives a warm, consistent vape at 375°F and 50J.

I had heard a lot about dual coils not working well with TC, but I've not found that to be the case at all. I've settled on the same build for all my dual coil tanks (orchids, goblins, goblin minis, Zephyrus) which is 9 wraps of 28g and I've been getting amazing performance from all of them. Resistance ends up being around .055-.060 depending on the atty (leg length, coil position, etc) and I've been getting tons of thick warm flavorful vapor at 460-480F running at 30J with power+ mode (SX Mini) or 45W (Sig 75W)

Maybe a DNA40 would limit your dual coil options a bit (or at least restrict you to 30g) but if you have a device that can fire down to .05 it's pretty easy to get a dual coil setup working well.
