I made a dual macro coil using a klapton wire (26ga + 32ga wrapped) in a lush rda. The coil takes 3/4 seconds to heat up and it is draining my battery (I'm using a istick 60w TC w/ an efest battery).

The dual coil is .5 ohms.
The flavour is very good but I 'm looking for a suggestion on changing the coils in order to not have the battery drain.

Do you think I have to do a 1ohm dual coil or do I need to create a dual coil not using a klapton wire?

Duel claptons will use alot of juice and battery especially when your over 50w. Either just accept it or switch over to regular duels. Resistance isn't the only factor. Wire weight can become an issue. A .4 single 26g macro can probably last triple the time and use 1/3rd of the juice on a .4 duel clapton build.

I would suggest making smaller and less complex coils, or obtaining a more powerful dual battery mod. You can expect dual claptons to discharge a single 18650 in a pretty big hurry. The fact it takes 3/4 second to heat up enough to make vapor is an indication it's a massive coil. Another method might be to make your clapton wire with a 28ga core instead of 26ga.

Efest batteries should be avoided. They peddle poor quality re-wraps of other manufacturers B or C grade cells, with inflated specs printed on them, as well as other dubious business practices.
Get some Samsung 25Rs or LG HG2s or Sony VTC4s
