There can be, it depends on how you build/wick it and what you are running it on.

Well,
if you have a pack of 28 gauge 1 ohm prewraped coils,
and you put two of them on on rda, you get a 0.5 ohm dual coil which is going to run at around 20 watts;
and if you put 4 of them on another rda, you get a 0.25 ohm quad coil which is going to run at about 40 watts and make twice as much cloud.

Given all wires are same, quad coils gives way more flavor than dual coils. But in my experience vapor production doesn't really improve that much. Instead of building quads, try parallel coils. Way easier to install. I do admit quads looks sick tho. But build within your batteries limits.
