I had to go to Charlotte yesterday. I decided to go by madvapes. I ended up with a bit of a shopping list once I told a few friends. Everyone there treated me well and they were very helpful.
One item I picked up was this:510 Battery Extension
I got it as an extension for the possibility of putting a tank on the roughstack. It is perfect for that.
I also got this volt indicator: Assembled Volt Indicator
It was a real eye opener to see how far below 3.7 some units that I have were.

The idea I stumbled on was to attach the battery extension to the bottom of the volt indicator.
It makes attaching and removal much quicker and easier. I know it will also help protect the bond of the male end of the voltage indicator as well. Using the extension, it takes all the stress off the connection.
Very glad I realized this and I thought I would pass it along.

BTW: Sjkader I made Lori aware of your compliment

I should have added that I also got Variable Voltage Box Mod
and I am really pleased with it. It's a great low cost way to find out if you like higher voltages.
So far, I'm finding a touch higher (4.2 or so) makes a big difference.
I also found all of my so called 3.7 devices (they are numerous) fall short of that.
So 4.2 doesn't sound like much of an increase but given nothing was true 3.7, it really is.

Red, you need to check it out soon
SJ, don't start any trouble. Madvapes has to stay here.

Maybe I can convince Hoogie to move the shop to South Dakota. :2cool:

I moved away from the cold of MA 5 years ago and this past winter was chilly in NC.. If I move anywhere, it's further south :)

good find on the extension luther will definitely take some stress off of the connector in the box..
