Dumb noob question about the eGo-T battery.

Hello everybody,

I just got my brand spanking new eGot-t in the mail and I have a question. It is the one that has the 5 clicks on\off. My question is is the 5 clicks a "master" on and off and once you do the 5 clicks, do you just hold the button down to vape and let go or do you have to do the 5 clicks thing every time?

Thanks again.

Some have it, some don't. Usually if it's one that has it, it will say in the instructions or on the site that has it. And no, it's not a thing you have to do every time. Think of it this way: 5 clicks to turn it on and vape as you normally would (press and hold to vape, release when you're done inhaling), another 5 clicks to turn it off to keep it from firing in your pocket or wherever you carry it. This is just my understanding of the saftey feature, I've never had one that had this feature.

I think it's a good feature to have. I accidentally learned how to clean my cartomizers this weekend when i realized my pocket started getting hot while squatting down to get something. My boge carto was very hot and tasted burnt. Refilled it after it cooled down and it worked a lot better than before lol. Luckily it didn't burn the polyfill :D

Everyone is right. It is a great feature. The 5 click thing is a master switch to stop it from coming on in your pocket. 5 clicks to switch the battery on and then vape away as you normally would then 5 clicks to disable the battery if you need to. When you click it 5 times then the LED will blink. You can tell if the batt has be disable if you press the switch again and the light doesn't come on.

So I am happily vaping away as we speak.

I got a Janty EgoT and the battery's have this feature on them. Came shipped in the off setting. 5 clicks turns it on use it like normal and 5 clicks turns it off so the button doesn't get accidentally pressed. I think its great, I turn them off when I put them in my pocket or back pack and turn them on when I want them.

FYI: When it blinks multiple times (as in continuously), on it's own, it's time to recharge the battery. 3 blinks is a confirmation of either the ON of OFF command sent to the battery.

I posted a similar question a few posts back, but I have yet to find someone who can offer all the code meanings. I hope this helps.

I have a button protector when I put it into my pocket. I only do the five button click when storing in my pcc. Good luck. You can get the button protector from unsmoke,

This only works if you use the ego atty or a cone. I use just a cartomizer with no cone, and my button protector doesn't fit and comes right off.
