I know this sounds just..................well, anyway, I was wondering if ecigarettes make a noise when you draw on them. You know, like a satisfying tiny crackle or anything at all, really.

Cartomizers often give a little 'snap crackle pop' when in use. Particularly when freshly filled. Atomizers give off more of a sizzle. There is also noise from the draw of air. The amount varies with the model.
It does make a noise and a little crackle sound. Not a dumb question at all. I love the sound.

I got SO much help here myself and this forum is the only reason I started vaping. I don't know a lot but I hope to help someone a little the way others helped me.
I got into vaping for my Mom who has health issues and COPD (60 year smoker). She couldn't quit before and hasn't had a cig since she started vaping. So I'm pretty greatful to this board and all the people that helped us.
The people here are great and vaping is just amazing!!

Just out of curiosity, are you any particular fish? My family would think Lutefisk when they saw your screen name (we're all from Sweden).
Some do, some don't, sometimes yes, sometimes no. I have gotten the best crackles out of Vapor4Life and their cartos (KR808D-1) like snap crackle pop. Sometimes a carto will go whoosh as it starts to vaporize. Sometime attys do a much fainter crackle for me.
I LOVE the sound! its part of my 'relaxation' I get to sit and take deep breaths (really, 20 year smoker and I take DEEP BREATHS!! I could just cry it makes me so happy~) anyway, sit, deep breaths, and the sound and feel of my 'cig' - I think thats what made this so easy to quit- I always associated my cigs with a relaxing time- and I couldnt relax with the patch- LOL

YES THEIR IS a light crackling sound from ecigs. Atleast all mine do. Its the juice being vaporized at 200+ degrees around the coil.
LOL. Not a dumb question. I selected my username due to the atty I was 1st using. It made a lot of "pop" sounds. Not the sizzle/crackle, but a loud "POP" once in a while. Probably had a bad wick strand. I think it was my 1st question on ECF "Should it make such a popping sound?". The answers, were many and varied. Most said "Dude, those are the BEST!". lol.
