So I had an interesting experience New Years day.
The kids and I decided to take a little bike ride along the creek trail near our house. All was going well until my daughter (who's 7) strayed a little too close to the edge of the trail, lost control of her bike, road down the bank and into the drink.
Fortunately she was OK (soaked head to toe in freezing water, in shock and really ticked off. It was a Christmas present after all) After fishing her and the bike out we road home. I dunked her in a warm bath and served liberal amounts of hot chocolate to both my son and daughter (I think my son was almost as traumatized as my daughter.) Then I headed for the shower myself.
That's when I realized I my e-cig still in my pocket. Oops. So I pulled the cart off and chucked it and let the batter/atomizer sit on a shelf for a few hours. I popped in another cart later that evening, and it still worked! I was even able to charge it this morning without any problems (It's a GreenSmartLiving)
I've had some success in reviving cell phones from water (not a lot. They usually still suffer some sort of quirk afterwards) but I would have thought the e-cig would have been toast.
Anyone else have disaster/recovery stories about their e-cigs?
