Durable Ego?

Im looking to find a Durable ego style battery for my dad. We have both been vaping for over two years, and he has stuck with his egos and Carto tanks since, but he seems to have a habit of dropping and breaking his batteries.
Does anyone here know of a durable ego style battery out there? something not too pricey, no vv/vw necessary, just push button and vape?

This probably isnt what you are looking for, but fwiw:
MVP2 is said to be super durable and battery life is incredible for that class of mod.
out side of that (and maybe kicking a mech) I'm out of opinions..

Evod battery. I am tough on gear, and other than killing one by forgetting it was in my pocket when I was wading in a river, I haven't broken one yet.

I suggest a Vision Spinner 2 battery, and either a mini Protank 2.5, or a mini Aerotank. The Spinner 2 holds a charge for 2 days, and that's with heavy vaping. My husband prefers top fill clearos like a C4, but I can't dial the voltage up enough on my Spinner battery and many ejuices are plastic tank crackers.

I had tried to give him my MVP, he wont take it based on the size of it.

Not sure if hed wear a lanyard, but thats worth a shot

He works construction, and always keeps his PV in his shirt picket (where the pack of cigarettes used to go) and sometimes it just falls out, might be a few feet drop, might be three stories of a fall. tried Vison spinners and EVOD batteries.

As far as tanks he wont deter from his carto tanks, hes tried others, but just sticks to his carto tanks, cant say i blame him though.

Guess ill also throw this question into this, seeing as there just might not be a super durable ego, anyone know of a place to get 1100Mah Egos bulk for a good price?

Understandable. Perhaps rather than around the neck, it could be shortened and wrapped around a button near the pocket, or pinned inside the pocket of a tshirt. I wouldn't wear a lanyard 'out' but I do when I'm mowing

I'm really glad you asked now I didn't know those particular clips existed. But from going for the glass case with clip > cigar case with clip, I googled into them. Now I'll be using that mowing... lol... and might even wear it going out too.

You know, I stared with genuine Joyetech eGo batteries from Cignot and never had a problem with them. (Actually they still hold a charge even.) I dropped them several times and they never came apart. However, you see a lot of complaints on here of cheap FT and eBay eGo class batteries that can and do go to pieces - literally - in short order. Maybe you should try one of the real deal Joyetech's and see if he has better luck with that? As with anything - you get what you pay for.

another option would be to get a bunch of mini egos (350 mah). then it wouldn't stick out as far and wouldnt as likely fall out of his pocket. they are about 57mm (or 2.25"). It looks like they are about $10 each. You could probably save a few bucks each if you contact the seller for a bulk purchase
He'd have to throw a few of them in his pocket for the day... 350 mah isnt much vape time....

I take it you're talking to the OP. I've had Joye batts from the start and may have been somewhat responsible for the eGo-c

I've only had on instance where I dropped a Joye batt directly down vertical on tile and it shifted the circuit board down to where the button stuck. I hit it in the opposite direction and fixed it. Except for the very first Janty Joye's there's never been a real button problem with Joye batts that didn't come from a drop.

I started with two eGo kits from Cignot and those four batteries were all I used for my first year of vaping. And I can still use them. Just for giggles I'll still find something I want to stick on 'em and vape away. (I do actually like the eGo C experience. Damn, that tiny atty can put out a hella lotta vapor!)

But for all the people who can't seem to get an eGo style battery to last even 90 days without "wearing" them out... Makes me wonder why that is. Those "expensive" Joyetech kits were the best deal ever. Never had to replace the batteries or chargers due to failure.

I meant the batt with the short and charge protection. I've had (and have) a lot of Joye eGos. My last two that died lasted over 2 years.

I know Kent!!! lol We're both ultimately talking about the matter of "what do you get inside a real Joyetech battery?" versus what you may or may not get with a mysterium battery. Some of those eGo blister pack things with nothing more than a 5 volt USB to 510 adapter being passed off as a legitimate charger are truly scary things. And the source of a lot of the "...film at eleven!!!" news reports about things going badly when that adapter is used on a real battery that hasn't been hacked to charge at 5 volts.
