When you use it in public or at a bar/club or whatnot, has it managed to help initiate conversation with strangers who are curious about your e-cig? I was going to bring mine into a big rave concert at a local club here, but I'm worried I won't have enough smoke without any other parts(and I really don't want to carry around lots of extra things).

just today I was in a classroom like setting and the guy next to me and i started talking. well needing a smoke, i pulled my e-cig out, right there, and puffed away. peoples eyes lit up in disbelief i would smoke in a non-smoking building and after words... i held it out and said it was an electronic cigarette. they couldn't believe it. coolest thing ever. most people have never even thunk of something like this. love it.

yep... it definitely gets a conversation started.

of course, the teach couldn't see!

It's definitely a conversation starter. As I knit a lot in truck stops and bars around the country I am used to strangers striking up conversations with me about the knitting, but now that I am vaping it's even more so.

I was in a small bar in CA a couple of evenings ago and the people there had heard of e-cigs but hadn't actually seen one. They were all very curious about them. Between the e-cig and my knitting I didn't get a moment's peace in that place LOL

Hi everyone, stumbled across this forum looking for ejuice to buy, and gotta say I love this site.

As for conversation starters, I always get curious looks followed by a couple of questions when I am vaping on my ecig, Ive got so many questions that I have a speech already constructed to explain what it is I am actually doing... probably 100% of the strangers who ask me about it always get extremely excited of the concept and now I can point them to this forum to get all their questions answered :D. As for big conversations, i usually end up talking to them for a good 10-15 minutes about the whole thing

I went to the pub in Inverness tonight and i said to the girl behind the bar " can i have a pint please" ..... Then i thought i would be a smart ... and take my black 901 ... with blue LED of corse .... out of my jacket pocket and see if i could get a conversation going .... lol lol .... She turned round and said ... Man .. whats that your smoking .. you shold try this dude ... At which point she whiped out her SCREW DRIVER and said i was a wimp lol lol lol .... But at least we were allowed to smoke in the pub hahahaha.

My 2nd story is ..... If you want to goto such a big concert in your local town hall ... lol ... Then i would make sure you got at least half a warehouse full of e-cig spares ..... You might need to look on the suppliers section of the forum hee hee hee.

Ya, they draw a lot of attention in my neck of the woods. Just earlier today someone inquired about what i was using. And he called over his wife, his wife called over her friend. Another guy stopped by and was just watching, when all was said and done had 6 people Oooing at the marvel of technology. Passed out my cards and went on my merry way :p

I posted this on another thread, but my brother and I felt like celebrities when we were using our super minis and minis on a night out in Edinburgh. We ended up using them in the bar and the club, we had the staff, manager and punters crowding round wanting to know more and pass the things round (always take spare carts for strangers to use!!)

I've also had people just look at me like I'm mad, and then offer me 'real' cigs - but hey, you can't convert everyone!

I like it when in local shops etc People just stare, you can see they want to say something but not sure what to do haha. My 901 has got the blue led so they know it not a cig I think? Up to now no one has said anything though! Had few people ask me about it when out with dogs they all amazed by it and can`t get there head round what it is, and if they interested always send them to this forum :)
