Your atomizer could have a short too. Your battery can sense this and won't let it fire.

That should be the light for short circuit indication, which most likely means you have a open circuit. So most likely your coil is either broken or there may be an issue with the leads of it maybe out of place or something like that etc. try with different atomizer

Open circuit = a break in the circuit, the light would not flash because of this.
It would flash if shorted though.
Like I said, clean the contacts and threads, try removing and installing the atty a few times.
This is how I fixed my girl friends EGO that did this all the time.
