Sweeteners in the ejuice perhaps?
I cannot tolerate any sweetener that ends in --ol e.g. sorbitol, zylitol. Gaseous nightmare...

Many apologies for speaking so veraciously on a (shhhhhh......) sunday! lol. Well, I am just not sure what caused this for me last night for way too many hours - about 10 possibly - but it was definitely due to the juice, as my partner let one go after I forced him to try my e-cig with this juice in it. Just strange how this has never happened before - had the same juice, used the same bottle! Maybe I did just overdo it a little.....a lot...... yeah!

As suggested earlier, it could be some compound in the liquid that is the cause. If you have been vaping more than normal for your usage pattern, that could also be a contributing factor. We cannot also count out that the juice maker may have changed the formulation or flavorings used. Less likely is something with your equipment. And lastly, your diet in the past day could also be a contributing factor.

I joined this cos I saw a discussion that I wanted to reply to but then found it had closed, so I am hoping someone else can tell me what the hell is going on! It is 5.25 a.m. and I haven't slept yet, partly due to waiting for my daughter to come home then nursing her while she was throwing up after drinking too much, but partly, and mainly cos I cannot stop farting! lovely, I know, but this is driving me mad. It took me a while to realise that the farts smell exactly like the juice in my e-cig tasted, which to be honest is not how it usually tastes and I have no idea why it tastes different at the moment, but it does. I just couldn't believe that my farts would have the smell of my e-cig juice, so I just came on and googled e-cig and flatulence and found that someone on here had described it exactly the same. I have been vaping for about 8 months now and never noticed this, so I am wondering - is it cos I have been overdoing it today, or is it cos the taste is a bit......well....off, maybe?! It is the same juice I have been using and only bought a couple of weeks ago and only been opened a few days, but didn't taste like this in my other e-cig, so could the e-cig itself be to blame? Anyone else had this, or know why it is suddenly happening - I think the other person also mentioned explosive diahorrea but luckily I haven't experienced that....yet! Well it is 5.31 now so I hope I do eventually stop and manage to get some sleep! TIA

A few years ago I accidentally discovered a way to swallow while inhaling, it made my farts smell like the plant of questionable legality I was smoking. I would guess that perhaps you've even stumbled upon this trick. Drink some fizzy soda or something that'll make you burp - or even force one if you can. Chain vape for a minute or so to build up vapor in your stomach, then burp. If you're swallowing any vapor, you'll burp a cloud.

Regarding your partner: If the vape was to blame it would take much longer to pass through the digestive tract.

And "Allo Allo" references? How old are you? Lol (I'm not accusing you of being a child. Just that it's an old programme )

Hmmmmm that could be happening! well, fingers crossed, things appear to have now settled - at least for me! My poor daughter has been throwing up all day and feeling very ill - the silly girl has been smoking with her friends and smoked rather a lot last night, don't know whether that would do anything, but she insists she only drank a bottle of wine! This bungalow was not the place to be between midnight and dawn!! lol

Well I will be 50 next year, so can very easily remember the programme! lol I am always doing accents too - rarely speak with my own Liverpeeewl accent!

Well, I must congratulate everyone for this not going off the rails too much. I really have never heard of this issue before. Is it possibly an reaction to the PG? What are the ratios of the PG/VG fluid? Did your farts smell like smoke when you were using analogs?

I have no idea what PG is or ratios of PG/VG. Please enlighten me but in a way that doesn't make my brain hurt - it doesn't take too much these days though! And, er.....no, I don't think so and believe I can say with some confidence that I have never farted so much in my life as I did last night/this morning. It was approx. 10 hours of constant farting (every 2-4 minutes!). I am not surprised everyone has left me on my own today! ha ha I don't think I will tell them it has stopped.....for a while at least.....the peace is rather nice! I may even get a few games in. My brain working overtime now,hatching little plans.......

haha it was a little difficult to blame her - she wouldn't go near me! - spent most of the night hiding under my daughter's bed!



It has stopped now and I am using a different e-cig and juice. Not sure whether to bin the other one

you are obviously trying to upset me for some reason! Are you one of those nasty troll things?! not that it is any of your business, but my daughter is 19 and was out with friends till 1.30, possibly 1.29 I cannot be certain, please forgive me for that! I always worry when she is out, naturally, and always wait for her to return until I settle! If you find this thread offensive I suggest you jog on and find another thread that you feel more able to participate in!

I am sorry, I thought you were having a go at my parenting. It wasn't clear in your message what you meant. I am not ignorant at all and did not mean to attack you - I felt you were attacking me suggesting that I did not worry about my daughter, that was just how it read, but if that was not what you meant, then I sincerely apologise!
