I disagree with your suggestion of inference. The questions were "Were you not worried/concerned?" If the questions were regarding if Shazzy was stressed it shouldn't have included the word, "not" - as in, "Were you worried? Were you concerned?"

Why would a new member start a farting thread and include the fact that she was waiting in her drunk daughter to come home? The drunk daughter is irrelevant in this conversation. I could give two 's about the drunk kid!

I started vaping after 40 years of chain smoking. I had not been able to smell anything for the last 4 decades, including my own farts.

After a couple of months, my sense of smell came back. I suddenly realized that the world smells different than I remember from the 1970s...and I want to know who is responsible.

I vape unflavored liquid and I can assure you, my farts do not smell like my liquid...I only wish they did...but I blame them on the dog so...

This appears to be the problem. His wording made sense to me (American), but came off as possibly offensive to UK members. Yes, he was asking if she was stressed/anxious over her daughter, and maybe it contributed to gastro distress; not criticizing her parenting or her daughter.
