I've been offered a really good deal on a Saber Touch 5v mod and have some questions I hope someone can answer. It is set up with a 501 battery connector see site . In your experience, can you use a 510 bat to kr808 cartomizer adapter on a 5v such as this? Does an adapter like that even exist? Or does one have to set it up as a 3 peice?

Question 2, the mod takes (2) 16340 3.6v batteries. I've found 2 different bats with that number: 16340-CR123 and the 16340-RCR123A. Which one should be used?? I don't want to burn up or blow up lol.

Question 3, The battery chargers mAH output doesn't go up to the mAH of the batteries - example: battery = 880mAH and the highest charger I can find is like 750 mAH output. Is that a problem?

I'm very new to vaping and have only used kr808.

Thanks for any reply,
Denise

1. Such an adapter does exist, e.g., from Good Prophets ("510batt-to-808/901atom") or MadVapes ("510 to 901/808-D Adapter").

2. CR123 is to CR123A as KR808 is to KR808D-1, i.e., an abbreviation. The 'R' in front (e.g., RCR123A) means it is rechargeable (which, of course, is what you want), although that sometimes is abbreviated or shown as "Rechargeable CR123A." Most important, however, is make sure you get the 16340 3.6v batteries specified on the vapormoon.com website, not the 3.0V, e.g., this, not this. [The brand doesn't matter, at least in terms of compatibility.] And make sure it is protected.

3. I don't think a charger has milliamp hours (mAh), i.e., how long you can vape per battery charge. It has milliamps (mA), i.e., current. However, if the charger says that it is for 750 mAh 3.0V RCR123A batteries, you do not want to use it with your 880 mAh 3.6V RCR123A batteries. Instead, use a charger like the TL-100 (which is 350mA) or AG-126 (which is 650 or 750 mA) or AD-108 (which is 700 mA): all intended for 3.6V and 3.7V batts.

Suggestion: Check out the batteries and chargers at MadVapes. They have pretty good prices, a good selection, and they understand the world of vaping (rather than flashlights).
