E Cig Models

Asking simply, which is better between the two? The Joye mini series (306, 306a, etc), or the M4xx series?

After doing much reading I'm down to those two. I thought about getting a larger, pen-style model (either the DSE-901 or the Joye 510) but I still want something that will work good enough for me yet still resemble the look and feel of a traditional cigarette.

Thanks!

P.S. I thought about the super-super mini models but after reading what people have said about them it doesn't seem worth buying. I'm fine with anything looking like a 100 instead of risking performance for an 84mm size PV.

I've tried a standard 306 and can tell you it just doesn't perform well enough for me. From what I've read about the M4xx series it won't either. Neither will produce enough vapor or give the TH that I need. Maybe if you smoke ultra lights and not too many of them you could make it work for you, but really, why not go up in size just a bit and get something that can do the job. If you're really stuck on one of those, I'd choose the M4xx simply because parts are more readily available.

One of the hardest things as a new vaper, is letting go of the idea that your PV
needs to look like a regular or close to a analog cig.

The battery and it's size will possibily be a determining factor of how your vaping
experience goes and whether or not your able to put down the analogs for good.

There are reasons why the small battery units get such bad reviews. Read some
more and hopefully "look like a real cig" idea will fade away with added knowledge.

So from your choices you have mentioned...Joye 510 or DSE 901
And from what you have not mentioned....Riva 510

Good Luck on whatever your choice is and let us know how it goes.

I agree. I tested out a disposable e-cig that looked and felt like a regular one. After reading reviews and looking at the options, I ended up going with the Tornado. It is bigger and heavier and feels WONDERFUL to hold (Black matte finish model). I love the Manual battery and placement of the button, and because I was a cigar smoker, it's weight is very satsfying in my hand. Also, I do not mind that there is no Glow indicator at the end of the E-Cig. This serves to alter my psycological addition to some of the subtle smoking cues provided by analogs. I do not miss lighters, burns, ashes, or stale cigars and by migrating away from all of those things I feel I can distance myself further from the need to smoke and separate the e-cig into a more guilt-free category.

If you are going to commit to giving up analogs believe me the look & feel of a real cig will pass and vapor, draw, battery life, etc will prevail! I tried so many types and spent alot of money. Eventually you will want more performance and keep upgrading leaving a drawer full of old ecig kits only to never used again. Save yourself the money, frustration and time and just get the best!
I just got the eGo Tank system! I can homestly say that it's the best system I have had the pleasure of using. Consisten draw, vapor, no leaking, no flooded attys, no dry poly fill burn taste, no topping off! Simply fill the tank with juice (holds 1.1 ml not like 7 drops of the minis) and you're good to go!
So, my recommendation- Joye eGo Tank!!!

You pretty much have to choose what is most important to you: it must "look" like a analog (cig) or it must have the "inhaled feel" of an analog. Better batteries (larger) provide the warmth and throat hit that along with sufficient nicotine strength is needed to provide the "inhaled feel" of an analog. At a minumum I recommend that new users start out with at least an eGo/Riva/VGO type PV because it has smallest (size wise) of the better battery devices. It still will not match the performance of a good 5 volt or VV PV but is much better than the small, mini PV's.

to answer your question of which is better... whichever one is the least expensive would be the better one, that way you won't be out too much money. Perhaps you can even look into getting a disposable?
