No ECF does NOT sell or give any member information out to any companies. Also thought I'd point out we dont have a lot of that information in the first place to give anyway.
I'm not sure where they got it, but I can promise it wasnt from us.

Just emphasizing... the ECF cannot give anyone your name and phone number... because you do not give us that info when you register here. We also do not give out your shoe size, your credit score, or the name of your first girlfriend/boyfriend... because we're not psychic.

I don't think your number was given out by ECF. I've been a member for 8 months and never received any type of spam or phone calls. I would politely tell the "F.....NO! I WANT SOMETHING THAT WORKS..NOT YOUR JUNK!"....oh, my way of being nice to people like that is to yell into the phone so they can't hear for a week.

To answer your second post.....yes all those companies are safe and reputable.

They are screened by the toughest screeners possible......ECF members.
