So far, here are 2 signs regarding the electronic cigarette and the anti smoking laws in most states. If you all need one for another state, let me know and I'll get the information and get it out to you. Eventually, I'll have one for each state that has a smoking ban or restriction.

Currently Done: Washington State and Rhode Island.

Well, I cannot take credit for the main part of the sign. These were over at the TW forum, but only had the UK Clean Air act on them. As I am trying locally to raise awareness of these devices, I made the Washington State one. As most states define smoking similarly, and several attorneys have already weighed in that these are not subject to the bans in place, I look up each state's law, and make it part of the sign.

I have one tab open to a list of all 50 states and their particular legal code for this, and can get one for a particular state made in about 5-20 minutes.

It's a great idea and is much appreciated, but there is one thing to note: drop the "u" in "vapour" and "odour" as we don't spell them like that here in the states. It might make people question the sign's legitimacy.

Oooh, good catch, I didn't even notice that. Good point though, we spell it "vapor" and "odor" over here.

The tests that showed them were on the fluid in the carts, and at this time, aren't showing in most products. At present, the exhaled vapour does not contain detectable traces of nitrosaimines, and the current statement is accurate.

Has anyone tested the exhaled vapor? Cause we have been looking for a study of exhaled vapor for quite some time and if there is NO study that shows that there are no carcinogens in EXHALED vapor.. then it is inaccurate to make the statement. If that could be removed.. it is a great sign!

Just about every test I have read on the liquid shows if there are any carcinogens present, it's in such minute quantities that in one puff there would not be any detectable traces. Vaporiation tests also have been showing the lack of detectable nitrosamines.

Also, many e-juice suppliers that test their products have been showing a lack of these carcinogens. Even the FDA's own report showed half the tested cartridges were nitrosamine free in the liquid itself.

While it would be nice to have the hard data to point at, there is enough soft data to point at and be comfortable in saying this. But, if people want a redesign of the total sign, then I'll get it done.

Redesigned signs here. Sorry for the double post, but I can't seem to edit the posts to get attachments fixed.

Ok, another try to get this one posted. Forum is being a bit of a .....

Oregon's sign. their language is a bit more vague, so this one might get challenged. Could not be helped, as their legal code does not define what smoking actually is, only that it's requiring an ignited item.
