Nothing worked for me until I started vaping -- not the gum, the patches, or the lozenges. Not the therapy. Not the hypnosis. Not even the acupuncture.

I was a 1.5-2 pack/day smoker for over 38 years. As you can see from my signature, I've been smoke-free for over 3 weeks now. And this was soooooooooooooooooooo eaaaaaaaaasssssyyy in comparison. Yippeeeeeee!!! :D

i have been waiting for something like this to come along for a long time. as you can see in my sig the day i got my first ecig i havent touched a single analog. i have a full pack sitting on the window sill and do not have a single craving for it. alot has changed in just a week. i breath better. i actually took my daughter for a walk with my son and wasnt winded. at night when i sleep i dont weez. and another bonus is i have cronic back pain and since i have quit the pain has lessened. im not taking as much vicodine as i was. (was up to 10 10/325 a day no im lucky to take 6 max. so this in itself is a BIG plus.

For several months, I've experimented with various e-cigs, cartridges, liquids strengths & flavors and I finally found what worked for me (a DSE901 w/manual battery and 18mg liquid). A few days ago, I gave up analogs completely. It hasn't exactly been easy, but it's certainly not as difficult as I expected it to be.

After 23 years of smoking (2 packs a day for the past 8 of them!), it feels pretty amazing to have given up cigarettes, er, analogs. I don't ever want to go back.

I quit the day I received my 510... Pack a day smoker for 17 or so years. Smoke free for over 2 months now, don't ever plan on going back!

I went into this wanting to quit. I said to myself, like it or not I'm going to vape and never pick up an anolog again, even if they taste like a donkey's booty. There were days I craved cigs and days I couldn't stand vaping but I plowed right through it. For those who are still bouncing back and forth, think about this -- if there were no more cigs, you'd make due with ecigs or you wouldn't smoke. I think you just have to have the right frame of mind.

i don't think it's my lack of wanting the e cig to work, or the atty's that seem to work one day, then die on me the next.

i actually got one caught in a battery .... ` ugh `

so, i quit smoking on aug 25. i have bought 2 packs and feel like i have totally lost the entire reason why i am on e cigs.

listen... i KNOW what i want to do.. it's just my body doesn't seem to go with my head to easily.

i want to get to a place where i only vape flavours, not flavoured nicotine juice.

what steps have other people taken to get there?

Gradually cut back your mg of e-liquid but make sure you have a bottle of unflavored e-liquid for the times when your nicotine cravings area the worst, like in the morning when you wake up, around noon, or just before bed....

Start switching from tobacco flavors to fruity flavors or fun flavors like cotton candy, cherry, apple, tutti-fruiti, etc... Lower your mg doses of nicotine levels over a period of time. Wait until your body is okay with the lowered dose before dropping the dose again. I mean literally wait until you have no cravings for the higher amounts all day long, not just your trigger times.

I believe if you stay on this course, you will be able to quit vaping for the nicotine and maybe just go to the 0mg fruity flavors until eventually you will not be interested in the hand to mouth movement that is the hardest to break in a smoker/vapor.

Drop from the 36 to 24, to 18 to 12 then maybe 5mg (you might have to mix this yourself) and finally reach the zero point. It will take time because you are weaning your body off the nicotine. Thankfully, you are weaning off a safe product, unlike analog cigarettes. Also, you might want to try My Freedom Smoke's double-strength flavors. I get more of a kick from the flavor than the mg of nicotine b/c sometimes I have to stretch it out using PG/VG and nic liquid when I can't afford to buy e-liquid until such and such date.

Wishing you the best of luck....
