WEll, a 901 has more flavor. But if I got it I would have gotten a manual switch. I'm sure there are manual batteries out there for the 901--I just don't remember if they worked properly.

The reason I said it is because I seem to remember they had trouble with the manual switch model.

That said, I also seem to remember...the lower voltages had more flavor.

With the caveat that taste is very subjective, I will 2nd Walrus' opinion that the 801 is very good in the taste department. I have limited experience with a lot of atomizers but I do have a 510 and an 801. I typically run both at 5V through my prodigy.
The 801 is far and away my favorite, especially when it comes to taste - very thick and heavy vapor. On the rare occasion though that I am really craving a knock down solid throat hit I will hook up the 510 and BAM :) But the drop off in taste is considerable.

Ive been posting about Greentip and they deleted my comments. I just like their products and want to share with you all. anyways...Vanilla is my favorite from them personally. try googling them: greentip usa.

I've actually tried the Vanilla flavor from Greentipusa.com and I have to say out of all the e-cigs I have tried Greentip had the best taste. Just got an alert from their facebook that the Black Friday special is $35.00. I recommend it!

Of the 'standard' ecig atties, I'd say that the 801 probably gives the best flavor. However, it also (conversely) gives the least throat hit. Both due to the fact that it runs cooler.

This is why I prefer a RN4072 Penstyle atty. It is interchangeable with the 801, but it is designed to run just a little hotter. And while you still get the great flavor, you also get improved throat hit.
