Lets pretend you are told about this, and are sold on the facts you might quit smoking, and it doesn't have the "bad things" like a cigarette. Also, you can use it 'inside' because its cleaner, no ashes with no smell.
NOTE: (All the same selling points)

1) Which look would you want to have, if you have never really seen OR used one before?

One that looks like a cigarette, or one that doesn't?

If you vote, non look-a-like, Specify color. Black or white case w/different look like 901/penstyle.

2) Also, tag if you are a new user, or experienced user.

Thanks, have fun.

1) Same as what I went for - pen style, black, with a blue/green led (510 is what I bought). I like that it looks enough like a cigarette to be obvious what I'm doing, but different enough that people know I'm not smoking. White isn't for me, I could've gone with chrome or copper, but they aren't common enough, and I'd feel locked into 1 or 2 vendors right now. (Though the blacklight led is damn cool)

2) New, been thinking about it for a while - but only got mine last Saturday :D

At first it was important that I got something that looked like a real cig. I asked around and was told that I wouldn't find a good one that looked like a real cig (not necessarily true but that's what someone told me). Now I don't care at all. If it works well I like it. I have a 510 and 901 and they look the same. Both black with blue LED's. Couldn't be happier.

vaping for about 1 month

Non-look-alike, similar shape and size I went with a manual 501 in black/brass with a blue LED

I'm a new user vaping for almost a week now.

I wanted something that was reasonably close to a tobacco cigarette in size and shape -- 20 extra mm in length was fine. I knew it would be heavier, so I took that into account. I most emphatically however did not want something that "Looked" like a cigarette -- no white, no brown or white mouth pieces, and most especially, no red LEDs. Let me say that again -- no red LEDs. Going in, before I ever touched my first model, I knew that for other people's comfort, my PV had to look as little like an analog as possible in operation while feeling as much like one to me as possible. (My rationale has worked -- I have NEVER ONCE been even questioned or eyed funny, much less harassed, even while blowing out great gobs of vapor at Midway airport, in various shopping places, in clubs and restaurants.)

I very much did not want any sort of box or screwdriver -- and I still don't. Those wouldn't provide the psychological habit. Even the pen styles are too different.

I ended up with a VX2/J118, an m401, and a Blu. I've since passed on the Blu (it's a great starter model). Initially, everything was either black with blue LEDs or silver with blue LEDs; now I have red and blue bodies, too, and some red LEDs I'm trying to fix with alternate endcaps. Now that I have my devices, I know that the most important thing is the ease of cartridge refill -- recessed carts quite frankly suck and they're too small.

I consider myself a mid-point user; I'm approaching my 3 month anniversary.

When I first started I wanted somthing that looked as close as possible to an analog. Something that atleast had a mouthpiece that was round and same diameter of an analog. The white Blu looked just like my Marlboro Lights. I went with a Joye306 after the BS with Blu on backorder. Really liked it except like with all superminis the carts are crap, don't hold much juice, and alot of trouble to top off. Couldn't be happier with my 510 I have now. As I have been vaping for awhile now it seems the smaller they are the easier it is to loose it. Or the harder it is to dig it out of your pocket when you want to vape. A PV the size of a pack of cigs with similar dimensions, weight, rounded corners, pushbutton, and that will last me all day long while at work or out and about is probably ideal.
