Just left a Pilot T/S where an employee told me I had to quit using my e-cig.

I was vaping my SD in line to get my fuel ticket. The employee told me I could not be "smoking". I pointed at the njoy display and told him it was a electronic cigarette just like the njoy.

He then asked me if he could see my card?? I asked what card. He pulls a njoy pro out of his pocket, and the little card that comes with it. He informs me to be able to use the e-cig in all areas you must have the card that shows your e-cig is "certified" for use in public areas8-o.

I went to my truck and got the card that came with my njoys.:thumb: I went back in vaping on the SD again. He jumped me again about not having the card. I pulled it out said I got it.:thumb: His response was classic
"Sorry thats a njoy certification card, you cant use it for your e-cig"

Obviously DW was there and he DID drink the water!!
HUH????

I am sorry, is reality getting in the way of your rant?

They only want Njoy certified products used in their establishment. It makes perfect sense considering the exclusively sell only Njoy products.

Go buy some burger king and try to bring it into the dining room at mc donalds and argue with them that they are wrong to not allow it because eating is allowed in that room.

Seriously, if you need to abandon every trace of common sense to believe something then maybe it is not worth believing.

Let me explain DW it is not a certification card it just explains what the e-cig is. It does not even have the word certified on it. It is a dimwit who thinks it is a certification card you must have.

If I remember from reading past posts, the card referred to is simply a description of the device and how all the parts work.
BTW, TDM, how long did it take for you to get your Screwdriver?

I carry 10 different certifications for my job and none of the cards say the word certified on them.

Thats exactly what the card is. Thats my point. It wasnt the tyruckstops policy. It was the employee thinking you had to have the card to use it!!

I bought my SD second hand, so 3 days.

From the original post: "He informs me to be able to use the e-cig in all areas you must have the card that shows your e-cig is "certified" for use in public areas"
This person was giving a false statement to begin with as the card he referred to is different from what he required TDM to produce.
The guy sounds like he was either trying to push his establishment's product, or was on some kind of power trip -something that tobaccophobes are famous for.
