I am watching a show called "detroit 1-8-7 " on CBS. About 5 min into the program, a lady detective , who appears to be trying to quit cigs , pulls out an e-cig, screws it together, and takes a big puff. She has a a very satisfying smile on her face.....ya can't get better PR than that...I think we are finnaly coming into the main stream...yah

edit: that was ABC, not CBS

During clip and the one on letterman (or was it leno?) I keep thinking that they really need to use an LR atty or something... pretty weak vapor. :p

But I'm SO pleased that millions of people will get to see that! That's even better than a commercial for an e-cig... I wonder how many people are going to get interested in e-cigs just from those few seconds of airtime alone?

I think the problem is more that they're always using auto batteries. Letterman, Stossel, this, The Tourist, all automatic batteries. If they used a manual, they'd get more vapor without changing anything else.

Watching 1-8-7 now...what I didn't like about it was when she used it the second time while talking to the 2 cops, he kind of dogged her and said he was distracted by "that thing in her mouth" and that in profile she looked like FDR. :(
I would LOVE it if the entertainment industry if nothing else, could get a positive word out about them.
