So much controversy over vaping finally we have a alternative to smoking and what do they want to do? Regulate and put excise taxes on all e-cig products. Why not use this new technology to stop all cigarette smoking completely instead of hindering the new technology? Smokers now have a choice to get off cigarettes without all the harsh withdraws and possibly quit completely. Tell me what you all think.

I agree with you. It makes sense to me. It doesn't to governments and health care people who all enjoy the merry-go-round ($£) of the Pharmaceutical industry.
I think it is developing in a natural way at its own speed. It will never be as big as smoking used to be. More information is getting out. I am just happy I discovered vaping before the cigs finished me off, but I don't think I would ever get as involved with it at a younger age as I did with cigarettes. Vaping just doesn't have the crack ....... addiction-type reflex that they did.
Big, big money is involved.......mainly the losing of it. State and Federal gov. lose, tobacco lose, but the biggest loser big pharma; and they're behind much of the negative info about ecigs.
