**If there's anybody who can confirm this for me, I'd really appreciate it!

I got my first e-cigarette today, and I absolutely love it! It was purchased from Drew's tobacco World (if there's anybody out there in OK looking for a brick-and-mortar shop to buy one). Fairly good meh price at $52.95 for the battery, 1 atomizer, and 4 cartridges. They also sell flavored carts, but they're a bit pricey at $15 for 5. Plus they don't have much flavor. I can't really tell much difference between Clove, Peach, and Tobacco. o_O So I set out to find an online source of carts/e-juice, but without a model number, it's kinda dicey. The guys at the shop said that they were imported as abcde-cigarettes. >.< Any search for the brand just brought up the Texas Tobacco Coalition, most likely the importer/resellers.

The cig is black with a green led, and no special markings. It came with a usb charger that screws into the battery (4.2v, 200ma). The box is kind of a fancy-ish magnetic closing cigar box. It has a crest design with a fancy "E" in the shield, and three crowns on top. All it says is "E-CIGARETTE: CREATE HEALTHY LIFE".

After a bit of creative googling, I found a bulk seller on alibaba.com (from China go figure) that sold a box that matched exactly. It's a KSD510 (or generic 510 if I'm understanding correctly). I'm fairly sure it's just a mass-manufactured type from China that is sold under slightly different names by many local retailers.

Final Ruling: m401 Atomizer type/threading matches!

Anyways, just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone else trying to identify the brand. Also, if I'm wrong, please let me know! I'm planning on ordering some extra atomizers/cartridges/e-juice soon, so I guess I'll find out. ^_^

Hi firenza and welcome to ECF, it's nice to see another Okie join our ranks.

Actually that isn't a very good price for a single battery and atty. For that price you should be able to get another battery and atty plus charger included into the kit.

It is also definitely not a standard 510. I don't know all the models but 510s have a female threaded battery and the cart fits into, not over the atty.

You could try VaporKings, they're located in OKC if I remember correctly, and they are opening a brick and mortar (well probably steel and concrete LOL) shop soon. You can find them here on ECF as they are a registered ECF supplier.

yep, you can refill the carts by dripping juice onto the filler until it glistens, dont let it pool up or you'll "flood" the atty and it will leak. You'll find that most people here will probably recommend the eGo/Riva/Tornado as it is pretty popular, fairly standard and you can get good deals on them. People also recommend them over the 510 versions because they have better battery life. They are a little larger than a 510 but not overly so. Of course if you get the mega atty and the biggest batteries they can be substantially larger than a standard cigarette. I'd say the eGo is more like a small cigar sized device.

I use a BB from altsmoke, but there are so many mods out there you are bound to find something that fits your needs and style. It just might take a little research and some questions to people that have them :)
No matter what model you choose be sure to get extra batteries juice and attys/cartos because once you start vaping, you won't be happy smoking an analog because you last atty died or your batteries are all fried.

Oh and in case you haven't found it yet we have a forum for Oklahoma Vapers. Okie Vapers

Yay! Judging by the female threading on the atomizer, it looks like it is a m401. I think the atomizers might have been cheaper at the store though ($5 if I remember right). Considering how much I enjoy the smoke (wasn't sure if I would), I'll probably end up ordering one, and passing the 401 on to my boyfriend (he's been sniping it all day). He won't use it nearly as much as I will, so hopefully we'll be better off on the replacement parts. I'll definitely bookmark the litecigusa site!

The VaporKings site looks promising (quick shipping/real store ftw!). Has anyone tried their e-liquid? I was looking at Buy Electronic Cigarette, E-Liquid, Skins And More At The PEC Smoke Shop! Is there a large difference in smoke taste/density between the VG/PG types of liquid? Again, I have no idea where to start on this one. I like the really thick smoke, but I want flavor as well...

I didn't know about the Okie Vapers forum! Awesome. I'm going to have to do some research on models I guess. I really like the style of the 401 (looks just like my Djarums), but yeah, the battery probably won't keep up with me very well.

Also, I'm very amused with the term 'analog' cigarettes. Somehow thinking of it like that makes quitting/smoking less seem less daunting.

Hi from another Oklahoman. I ordered two starter kits. The first one was from Vapor4Life which I still use. My go to vape is an eGo 510 which is relatively inexpensive from Liberty Flights. If you order from them be sure to click on the 20 percent off in the upper left hand corner to save some money. They ship fast and have a very good reputation around here. The eGo has a longer battery life which I like. There are two vendors that I know of in the state of OK. One is Vapor Kings located in Sand Springs and the other is Alterna Smokes in Claremore. I've ordered several things from Vapor Kings and I've always got my order the next day. They have great customer service. Welcome to the world of vaping. I love it.

Thanks for all the advice!
And just for newbies - Vapor Kings is a retailer that has their own Vapor King Model (is it a 510?). And Vapor4Life is a retailer that sells KR808D-1 (popular 2-piece model) as their Vapor King
Ironically, I think I'm going to order a KR808D-1 from the VaporKings website. I'm going to go with a 380mAh automatic battery, a few empty cartomizers, and some e-liquid. I did a happy dance when I saw the Djarum Black and Lucky Strike flavors!

I'm happy there are so many Okies on here! Also, definitely planning on stopping in at the new brick & mortar for VaporKings the next time we're up near Tulsa.

Hello from yet another Okie (I'm OldSoldier's wife). Be careful with automatic batteries. Carts/Cartos can (and probably WILL) leak from time to time and with an automatic battery, that's a recipe for disaster (fried battery). Automatic batteries are not sealed and the juice can leak down the little hole and good-bye battery. Auto batts also are kind of notorious for turning on when you don't want them to and draining the battery.

Something else to keep in mind too - even juice flavors that carry the name (or close to) of analog names will not be just like that analog flavor. The only way to get smoked tobacco flavor is to smoke tobacco. There are some juice flavors that come *close* to brand-name analogs, but I would hate to see you get really disappointed by expecting it to be "just like" your favorite smoke.

This is what I have gathered from reading things here and there.

1) VG is thicker (more viscous)
2) VG vaporizes at a lower temperature
3) VG produces better vapor
4) VG is somewhat sweeter

Because of the above...

1) VG does not wick quite as well
2) VG may gunk up your atomizer more quickly
3) VG produces a somewhat cooler vapor which may reduce throat hit

I prefer an 80% PG/20% VG mix because I want to kick the vapor up but I don't like the taste of VG very much.

Yeah, I might try a manual battery when I manage to fry mine. I'm sure I will lol. I just really don't want to have to push a button. I sounds silly I know.
I know that the brands won't be the same as the real thing, but I'm excited just because I like the flavor. And the ones I have now just kinda taste like sweet-ish smoke. >.<

It's not "silly" at all. We've devoted entire threads to discussing the progression so many of us went through (and are still going through). Like how at first we want something that looks, feels and tastes as close to an analog as possible because anything else just looks weird. Then eventually we decide we want something with more battery life, but we're still a little wary to walk around tooting on something that looks too weird, so we go through various longer (but still thin) batteries. Then those don't quite do it either so we move on to fat batts (like the eGo/Riva).

Before you know it, it has been a few months and you don't care what the pv looks like as long as it gives you good battery life, consistently good vapor, and consistent flavor with the minimal of fidgeting around with it. You don't care if it looks like a full-size flashlight with a fat button on it and the whole thing glows purple and green every time you take a hit. LOL!

I've given up a 27-yr habit and replaced it with an obsessive hobby, and I'm lovin' every minute of it!

Lol thanks. I definitely still feel a bit weird about the whole 'legal-to-smoke-inside' thing. I feel like I'll get the evil eye from people if I use it inside @ a public place.

I can see myself doing the same thing.. Get a bit obsessed, and forget to smoke analogs.

I've had mine 2 days, and I'm already fighting the urge to take it apart and tinker. I'm going to make myself hold off until I do a lot of reading in the modding forums though. I think one of the first thoughts I had when I saw an e-cig was, "I wonder if I can make the led change colors as you smoke?".
