Thanks, Magnus. Thanks for your prompt reply.

However, once you're vaping a bit DEFINITELY go to Clay's resource above. You have a lot you can learn to save money and improve your vaping experience that you don't want to be asking each time. Trust Clay on this one. -Magnus

Thanks everybody. I prefer to watch the procedure on videos. Thanks for the YouTube link. Thanks a lot.

You're quit welcome Orly. It works really well. But after the first filling I would recommend filling them as Clay and Magnus explained. You will save a little liquid that way and only need to add 5 or so drops evey now and then.

If you get a drip tip for your cartomizer it is very easy to pop it off and just add those few drops.

I use my T-Rex all day. I think you will really like it.

Best Wishes

+1 on the videos.

If a picture is worth 1,000 words, a moving picture with text and explanation is worth a million.

FWIW, I prefer the syringe method as well. I can't be bothered waiting for gravity to do its thing. :)

I have been going to buy a syringe ever since I started vaping and keep forgetting to. It would also be handy for my DIY.

I have a little shopping to do today, maybe this will be the day. :)

It's worth noting that a few vendors have offered to fill bottles you send to them. So if you become a big fan of one you can send them in and continuously clean and reuse them. Alien Visions most recently stated that in their forum. Others, including Vermillion and JuiceWhore (AU) have said it before. -Magnus

You diy but don't have any syringes?

I probably have too many - volumes ranging from 1mL to 25mL.

I suggest a 1mL for flavoringd and at least a 10mL for your bases. If you use VG you'll want an 18 gauge needle.
Thanks. I am using 30 ml. Can I get a 30 ml syringe if available? I am just curious. Thanks

These are awesome for DIY: Blunt Needles. The 14ga works especially well for VG.

Side tip: I buy "sharp" needles from the local Tractor Supply Company, then blunt them with a sanding disk on a Dremel. TSC is also a good source for large syringes.

1 ounce (30 mL) syringes are available. You wouldn't need anything that big though for just filling a cartomizer though. You could, but it's overkill. I would use something that size for measuring out VG or PG for making my own e-juice.

A 14 ga needled would certainly make it easier to draw VG.

We have LOTS of those stores here. LOL

I use VG almost exclusively so I figured 14ga or 16ga. I like those needle bottles too. I'm picking stuff up kinda slowly but getting a nice supply.

For the record, I do not fancy myself the leader or moderator of anything or any one. Other than trying - along with everyone else - to keep the peace and remain civil, so I don't understand why people would get that impression of me, specifically? My only leadership duties correspond with my activism and advocacy work and trying to motivate people to get educated and involved.

Also, I am not really a "supplier." My little artsy side hobby barely breaks even and my cases are sold with multiple purposes. Recently I have sold more for use with the pill organizers and for feminine products than for e-cigarettes. I'm no more of an "e-cigarette supplier" than Hobby Lobby is for selling Lorann's flavorings.

Finally, I have never claimed e-cigarettes were anything more than SAFER than tobacco cigarettes. I do not claim that they are "safe" because, while all evidence to date suggests it's highly likely to be safe for the majority of smokers, there isn't enough scientific research to "prove" it. Of course, nothing is ever proven 100% safe for 100% of the population....

Just so that is clear to anyone else who may be questioning my motivation or integrity.

Well said and I agree with you. This is why I was worried about people thinking we have "leaders" here. I agree with some members views but STRONGLY disagree their others views. I received PM's from members of the other forums referring to John and Kristen as being our "moderators" or "suppliers" and that simply isn't the case. <---at least in John's case. I agree with most members here in regards to e-cigs but certainly not all. E-Cigs are "probably" a safer alternative to smoking but are not "safe." I will say no more.
