I wish I knew something about RC Helicopters, I'm feeling left out :(
Ah well, that probably how others felt when I rambled on about ancient computer languages, serves me right. :)

Cheers

Join the club. I had a buddy back in the day whose family was big into RC planes, but from what I understand helicopters are an entirely different beast.

I kind of wish we'd go back to programming languages as well. At least that way I'd feel like I had more to offer in conversation. If only marginally more though... :)

Poor Magnus... I know all too well what it's like to have an expensive hobby and not have the funds or the time to support it.

OK..... lets jump off the RC and Programming Language sideshows and move ontoooooo... hrmm...........

Something quitting/smoking related......

How about what ~other~ habits you picked up when switching from analogs to electrics? Some people pick up snus too. Some people need more to do with their hands. Some people just obsess over mods.

In my case I miss cigars the most. And nothing I have done can replace those completely. So I somehow decided I'd start buying uppity cheese from boutique cheese shops and try to enjoy that while I'm vaping, dramming, and such.. -Magnus

He is but he doesn't seem at all interest in the DIY Drones community or Arduino so I have hesitated to even suggest it. I will however take your most sage advice and reach out for his expertise. At the very least if I'm a lost cause he'll know whom best to get everything donated to. -Magnus

Sorry, one small interjection back in :)

Reach out to Chris Bergen at bergenrc.com He has been doing auto UAV stuff for some clients, he mostly does industrial type rigs but he also has a hobby side. He's a good personal friend and extremely knowledgeable in all things helicopters. I think the office number is somewhere on their webpage, I'm reluctant to pass out cell phone numbers... If you get Maryann, just ask for Chris and tell him that Clay to the F'ing K sent you :)

Sorry, but what is an OT or PT person?

Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist .

Some of the clients were thinking of picking some up?
Or some of the therapists were thinking of picking some up for them?
Or some of the therapists were thinking of putting together a stock of supplies for use on premises?

Could she be the lol incognito?:sneaky:

I don't think so. Hec says she's british, and she really does come over as such in her writing (fecking, borrowing "coppers" etc.) Lol's mastery of the english language would probably enable her to get away with such a masquerade but my gut feeling says it ain't her. Wish Hec would join us though, she'd be a great addition, has anybody PM'd her?

Cheers

Oh, I really love ancient matured cheddar, all dry and crumbly, and warm crusty buttered bread. With a hearty red wine.
Heaven!

Not much keen on soft cheeses but Mrs Hobotivo likes them.

Cheers

Aged white cheddar is delicious. My wife really likes soft cheese too. The incredibly stinky, smells like a sweaty jock strap type. 8-o
