Hmm... Been looking at the GGTS and I guess I just don't see what all the fuss is about. Is it nice looking?

I've never used a feed system of any sort and I don't want one. My Roughstack can also do 3.7, 5, 6, and 7.4 voltages... I guess it would be like comparing a Rolex to a Timex. I'm a Timex kind of guy, I suppose.

From what I have read it's real nice looking. But I have never actually seen one. And from what I've read the engineering is very good. But way out of my budget.

Back when I was going to order one I was having a buying frenzy I think.

I want a GG, full scale. But sadly, Im seeing $5-700 pop on that. Haveing a really hard time wrapping my head around that kind of spend...but geez I want one. :p

The GG isn't terribly popular on the Aussievapers forum, I'd think very carefully before laying out the big bucks. Personally I can't comment as I don't have one, I was tossing up between the GG and the Provari, and the Provari won. Hopefully it'll come next week.

Woohoo, I just noticed my quit meter thing has rolled over $4k in savings, not bad in just over 3 months. :)

Cheers

... Then all of my neighbors have been shooting off their own fireworks for the last couple of weeks and will continue to do so for only God knows how long. The laws here were changed to allow people to buy "better" fireworks and to shoot them off during a larger window around holidays.

Bah, domestic fireworks are pretty much totally banned in AU, except for sparklers. :(
We have some fantastic displays put on by the government, but you can't let them off yourself.

I'm in two minds about it, as a kid I LOVED playing with fireworks and got up to some very naughty stuff with them, frankly it's a miracle I still have 2 hands and 2 eyes. The gun I made to aim and shoot bottle rockets was legendary, although not very accurate! But every year you'd hear that x number of kids had blown off various parts of their anatomy or lost their sight. Was it worth it? I know I learned a lot from fireworks, and took the best safety precautions I could with my crazy "experiments" but I was a bit of a science nerd, not every kid was as careful.

I've always wondered... Every year there is a huge (really huge, multi-million dollar) display on Sydney Harbour for New Year's Eve, and the TV invariably reports that it was seen by millions or billions of people around the world, is it true? Do you guys ever see it, even excerpts? (The full display usually runs about 25 minutes.)

Cheers

Generally I make it a point not to watch fireworks on TV. I've never really cared for the "light show" aspect; it's all about the sound for me. When I was younger my friends and I loved playing with firecrackers, but we always used common sense, lit them ON THE GROUND and scurried off a safe distance. Even then I wanted to keep all of my digits intact. Sadly, firecrackers aren't allowed here. :(

Guns are though! :)

The GGTS is definitely a nice piece of engineering. I've heard plenty of unhappy customer stories about it not showing up in complete working order though. And the prices for the endless configurations adds up quickly. The telescoping feature was the big deal before now it's the UFS. Neither one floats my boat in particular and The Empire has the telescoping feature.

But those who like it, just adore it. Cult status. -Magnus

No kidding (on both accounts).

I'm debating whether or not to buy a Darwin. I'm having a hard time justifying the price tag though. My wife is telling me to buy it, but I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger. It's features are SUH-WEET! I definitely need to stop buying juice. I have more than enough at this point and I can always make more. A lot more...

I've only tried the Chocolate Mint Chip Cheesecake at this point. It tastes exactly like my chocolate mint. That is to say, I don't taste any hint of cheesecake.

Darwin is a great PV. Battery life is outstanding but being able to adjust the vape makes a huge difference. Buzz Pro looks great too.

I like how it automagically sets the voltage based on a predetermined wattage and the resistance of your atomizer. Seems really convenient.

The most consistent hit of any PV I've tried. It is pricey but ECF classifieds make the high end PV's easy to sell if it doesn't work out for you.

I really need to stop reading that place...

Good luck with that, I can't. It's like a cavity in a tooth to which your tongue is constantly drawn.
I just made a post to Troy which will probably get me banned anyway. Told him to just go and buy an e-cig for his partner.
That's got to be heresy of some kind surely.
Cheers
