Well, were not addicts anymore. We can take a puff and not care, or look back, for various reasons. Cold turkey insures you remain in that state of waiting to break, and go right back. But for us....its just not a threat anymore. Maybe thats why some boards just hate us. So long as ciggies control your thoughts, your still a bit of a slave to em I guess, even if you dont smoke em. Id almost feel bad for some ppl, knowing those thoughts just eat at em all day...but I dont like some ppl, so it'll stay "almost".
I don't know many quitters that feel that close to throwing away their quit-I may think about having one but like I've said on the Q board theirs a BIG difference between having a passing thought & an all out gotta have one crave I guess some don't get it. Thinking like that just means any old excuse will work for throwing away your quit.

Im just saying I get a giggle knowing a select few and their "quites" are constantly running from a nicodemon, and I'm not.

True story all...uncle used to have a dauchund. And that lil bugger would test everyone in the room when first meeting them, BY....jumping on their lap, standing up and getting nose to nose, then poking her nose into yours real quick to check your response. If you freak out, she chases ya out. If your cool and laugh, you get to pet her after she made rounds.
That was a cool dog.

cute dog-does it bark alot,my neighbors barks alot.

Mine? The one pictured isn't one of mine, I'd have to dig around for some. However, my male Brindle (rest his soul), barked at everything, but would run away at the slightest opposition. He was a great dog, loved to play and chase his ball. Ultimately though, he was the beta dog in the pack and a wuss, but a lover nonetheless. My female, smooth red, is loving, quiet and protective. She's the silent killer. At her age though, she often scares me into thinking she's dead when she's just laying there sleeping.

Doxies are super headstrong, very intelligent, very prey driven. They can be protective, but it depends on the line and the upbringing/social development (same with all dogs really). I love my German Shepherds and my Doxies. I've been debating on a Weimaraner for our next one, but I'll probably stick with GS'.
