I'm wondering if I am an oddity...I don't like most of the flavors I try. For 2 months now I have been vaping V4L's WOW Cinnamon Roll (not sweet or buttery...just cinnamon and mild) with a few drops of Atomic Cinnacide thrown in to give it a kick. I started vaping with coffee and vanilla, both of which I now detest. I have tried some other flavors but nothing is even remotely 'appetizing' to me and I'm right back to my old standby. For the past 2 weeks I've done some flavor exploring, attempting to replace the V4L juice due to their high shipping costs they have and all I ended up with was a light pocketbook and a bad taste in my mouth...NOT an inducement to keep looking!

Well my wife knows well half knows mine...she forgets it consistently...with multiple 10+number alpha-numerics she's not used to thinking that way...and I have 50 of em so she just asks...Yes I am a bit security conscious but then again My off machine accts do not get hacked...I've been loking at a biometric system but they seem a little too hardware dependant...if I was going to get serious with that I would have an encrypted password cache on a thumbnail drive with a complex key to decrypt...but jeesh how far do ya REALLY need to go...long ago I was actually looking at those armord usb drives with a dedicated OS on drive. wow someone with one of those has to be paranoid...I will admit they are pretty cool though I wouldn't mind having one just to play with...I guess someday our computers will be the thumbdrive...

@ linden...Try PIF or the Classys...you can pick up some good deals on a juice lot in the classifieds...

Morning all! Since all the ladies were sharing photos of their husbands, I thought I would add my contribution. :)

I'm with ya on this. The hardest and by far the most expensive thing for me with steaming has been finding a liquid I could use all of the time. It took six months and I ended up with a blend of 555's from three different companies. I have used nothing else since then. Cost about a buck per day.

I've been wanting to try 555. I have had trouble finding the flavoring (always sold out) so I may just have to order some pre-made. The description sounds like it will be one of my favorites also.

They tend to be heavy on vg, light on flavor, and do need steeped....but Im more for not getting "fresh made" liquids..I like them steeped before I recieve them. I also hate ordering backwoods for that reason....
Oh, and I like strong flavors.

I like em strong too!

me its dependant...so far most flavors I have used DIY are mixed for my juice pretty weak concentration...1% 2% but then again I'm using all PG or high PG to VG ratio...so the PG carries the flavor better too...as to the other well I like my women strong and with attitude...if not well there's no way they can handle me...I'm more than a little bit Wild Child...

I looked into DIY a bit, but was surprised with the amount of equipment needed just to get started. With 3 young children around, I am not sure its a good idea for me to delve into it. I try to keep my vaping and supplies as unobtrusive as possible, and I cannot picture myself spending a lot of time mixing and measuring and testing in a corner where their little eyes can see. Still, if it ever became difficult to get my liquid I would have to either quit nicotine or make my own. I'd probably make my own!

Wow, lots of catching up to do. I'll properly comment as the day goes by, but first, a mini-rant...

It really pisses me off how under-rated some of the side effects of quitting smoking are, specifically anxiety and depression. It hit me like a ton of bricks when I quit, and being the vaping noob that I was, I attributed it to vaping, initially.

It was the scariest experience of my life. I seriously thought I was losing touch with reality at times. It was mostly resolved with meds, and it's only recently that I finally made the connection to quitting smoking. It's especially disheartening that my doctor didn't make the connection at time, even though we fully discussed everything that was going on in my life at the time.

What's equally disheartening is that all this occurred in spite of getting nicotine thru vaping. This makes it pretty clear to me that there's much more that we're dependant on from tobacco than just nicotine, and why NRT has such a low success rate. The smoking-cessation establishment really needs to get their heads out of their butts on the "nicotine is the root of all evil" stance.

Ok, that's my rant.... Good Morning All! :)

Thats actually not that hard and I have been studying the extraction processes to get a rough idea of the stuff that would be necessary to do a full on nic only extraction if I have to...Definitely not for the faint of heart or someone who is not already skilled in working with chemicals...but for me...Piece of Cake!:p

but then again I have some serious chem skills from back in the day...just need the hardware and a good clean room setup...which I can build if I need to...

Not like I haven't build temp clean rooms just to dismember and study how computer hard drives worked then put the units back together and they still worked...I still have one of them...it's in my rig I'm using right this moment...

Hi Randy...and yea I feel for ya...no one tells us these things and the establishment thinks OHHH its just nic withdrawals...NOPE IT ISN'T!!!

I agree. With little ones it would be much more difficult. I even worry about some of my friends coming over with their kids. Of course my base nic liquid is high up in the bathroom cupboard. And the highest nic base I ever buy is 48mg. I don't use the really high octane stuff. I'm too messy.

No its certainly not for everyone. But can be a world of fun for those inclined. (and cheap) :)
