... Another quick ???, besides V4L, are there other good vendors that offer "sampler packs" of blank cartos in different colors? Not just a 5-pack all green, but 5 diff colors? Most of the vendors I check are fairly obscure, didn't want to take a chance (never a good thing when the better half is concerned) without asking first. :2cool:

Do you use different colored cartos to differentiate between flavors?

If so, these aren't cartos, but you can purchase different colored end caps from Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Multicolor End Caps - 5 Pack.

This is for Ren (forgot to quote)

When I was using conventional cartos, I was using the "Turbos" from VaporNine. I believe they were made by Boge, and at the time were vertical coil. I was extremely pleased with them. V9 has since switched to a horizontal coil design, but I have not used them. I also don't know if they are made by Boge or not.

Right now I'm using CE2-X "Fluxomizers" from GotVapes, both in 510 and 808 versions. But, I will be transitioning to different products as they become available. There are several manufacturers releasing fillerless designs. The CE2s work well for me, but the leaking is a PITA, as well as the fiddle-factor on some of them. I tried a Vision Giant Clearomizer from GV, and it worked great. The one I had died (prematurely by reports from others). I might buy more later; the size is a bit of a turnoff for me, but certainly not the performance!

If I were to use 808 fillered cartos again, I would likely go with the Volt by Smokeless Image. The reason I would is because the batteries are regulated at 3.6V. I do plan to buy a kit from them at some point for the batteries, and will at least try the cartos at that point. Volt cartos are all black, but SI is selling endcaps in 5 colors. I have heard almost nothing but good things about Smokeless Image and the Volt line. (it's technically the same as a Bloog, but personally I'd not buy one).

I should get mine tomorrow. I just put in an order for the VV Ego passthru as well. Someone posted great pics of a disassembled Sapphire, and the innards are very impressive. Unless they just don't work for me for some reason, I think I'm going to be very pleased.

Let me know what ya think...I wanna try these things. Between those and dualies, the 2 hot products going. I havent been so impressed with clear dualies. Drip tips get floppy, and they lose capacity quickly just like boges. They do have better longevity though.

My wife likes 808 autos for their ease of use and ability to chomp in mouth and work hands-free. I too find them handy when working in the shop.

Do you have any prefs yourself for brand of cartos? Litecig has a fairly generic (though complete) selection of 808 hardware. Also do you use the "standard" size sticks? or the XL that are slightly longer? Any opinion on the button (yea/nay)?

I pose the same questions to anybody that has an 808 pref (think Randy is in this boat too)? My starter kit batts are finally starting to wane, and I'd like to get her something that she likes. :)

I've been using the SmokelessImage Volt and cartos. Love them both. The blanks don't come in different colors, but they just started selling replacement carto tops in different colors. $0.49 for a ton of them. Can't remember the exact count. I use 65, 78 and 102 size batts. The 65 are a waste IMO. Don't last long enough.

Bloog has blanks in different colors, at least they used to. Haven't purchased there in awhile, so not sure.

SmokelessImage is running a 23% off sale right now. code: heatwave

Nope... off to search...
Check it out here...
Little Sister Variable Voltage

People really like them, say they are well-built.
I often consider getting one.

My problem is I don't want to get a variable voltage mod.
I am afraid that if I do I will never be able to go back to my Chucks, and I don't want that to happen.
:)

Oooh, that's cute. :) Darn cheap too, even when you add the batts. What's up with that? :)

I'm not funny or witty and I don't have a creative bone in my body. I am, in fact, quite dull.

Winner is chosen at random, but they want funny pictures? What if winning random picture is not funny? Are you DQ'd?

This post is a lie within a lie, wait, strike that and reverse it. -Magnus
