An 808 Xl battery with a CE2 XL Cartomizer and a Drip tip is pretty dang long without an extra holder!

pffft not for a starlet like miss lol

I am soliciting ideas for a member contest to raise awareness of the Legislation News section of the forum.
I'd be willing to spend about $200 in prizes, and I want to target people who are not aware of the issues we face.

Thoughts or ideas?

Well what kind of ideas are you looking for? Entries, prizes both? Great idea by the way I think there's a large percentage of ECFers never go there.

I've had this unused juice sitting around waiting for the right idea on how to get rid of it to someone who needs it.
Magnus inspired me with his contest to maybe make a member contest to give it away.

Then I got more inspired, and decided to have a bigger contest, for a better reason, but now I need better prizes.

Hey, maybe I can use the juice to have a contest about what the best contest could be for the other contest!!
I knew alcohol wouldn't let me down!!!

No, but seriously, any and all ideas are welcome.....

I'm looking for any ideas about anything!
:D
Well what about one of those vaping in public contests? The entries are pictures of you (or someone you know taken by you) of vaping in a public place.

That would fit right in with being active in the fight against bans I think.

For the prizes you sad a $200.00 budget? Perhaps and ego or echo kit and/ or some juices if you're going to have places.

If you're just going to have one prize just one really good mod. For $200.00 you could even do a ProVari if you wanted to or maybe a Buzz or glv.

Hey guys, I got flattened yesterday by unexpected oral surgery. 8-o Slept most of the rest of day. Probably going to do the same today, but I thought I'd stop in and say I haven't gone missing or left the thread.

Sorry to hear the bad news, what's going on in this thread... Folk (and their folks) seem to be hurting all around. :(

Everybody be careful!

Wow been almost a month! At the time I had really good intentions to be a productive and seemingly intelligent member of this community! But right along that same time I felt the need to go off the grid so to speak. What started as a few days turned into a month before I even noticed! And first to admit that I am behind on the current conversation! Buuuttt I am back and I have so many new discoveries concerning my journey. Talk more later since none of you know me and at this point may be a bit leery of conversation! I have discovered that jaguar & learning to use the touchpad probably should not be attempted at the same time!!! And yes those opinions of me that you may be considering at this moment may be valid! Anyway~~~yes it has been a party worthy of 57 years!!! Too wordy
////
Happy 57th and happy 4th to you, dvsgrl! :D That must have been one heck of a party!!

Poor thing...taste buds rebelling again...?

I don't think so I think my buds are just weird. My Malibu Pineapple tastes exactly like it should.

Don't get me wrong I love the flavor and I'm glad it doesn't have any chocolate taste because I don't get on well with chocolate vapes. Just people keep sayin it tastes like Snickers... I think it tastes like the peanuts in a Snickers. :D

Got the saphires today...so far are ok..not quite as good flavor as the dualies, but easier to mess with, and look a lot stronger with a more solid base. All in all, looks like a nice lil tank system.
*Update*
The johnson creek liquids seem to flow well, but the home brew of 80/20 doesnt wick quite as well. Its ok, I only had issues with the 2.0 saphires that metered out at 2.2. And these are REALLY easy to tear apart, but mesing with the wick is near impossible, beacuse the starnds arent wrapped together like the ego tanks. They are just poked in somehow, and repeating that process seems near impossible without the strands being locked to one another somehow. That being said- First saphire bit the dust!
2.0 with Jc liquid is kicking pretty good. Ill try again with 80/20 mix later on. But the 2.4's seem to work well both ways, short of a slight perfumy taste comming from my home brew, that has calmed down.
Not too shabby a setup. I think these can find a place in the ol' arsenal of gear.

I've started adding about 5% distilled water to my mixes to help with wicking; I use 70pg/30vg.

I'm really impressed with how easily they tear down and go back together. Out of 3, 2 are still working. I thought I was down to 1, but I managed to get another dry-burned and re-wicked. I think I can now get the 3rd one back up when I get around to it. Here's a good tear-down video: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...sapphire-complete-tear-down-dis-assembly.html

The wicking seems to be the main weak point, or at least the hardest part of working on them. My best luck so far was to use some CE2 fat wick, and to "comb" it out on the coil side to relieve the twist. When I left it twisted, it didn't want to wick well at all for me.

Nate an I both noticed a bit of a perfumy taste. I don't know whether it's because it brought out flavor nuances in my mixes I hadn't noticed before, or whether they use a "perfumy" e-liquid as a primer. Whichever it is, I no longer notice the taste.

The factory wick looks a little different to me than the CE2 wick. I hope GV offers it as a spare part soon. Otherwise, I'll be buying more Sapphires when they're back in stock. I've had absolutely no leaks on them.
