I have been talking to a fellow and I know some of you have posted in his thread, that may come over and do some reading. He's interested in trying an e-cig and quitting the nicotine too. I'll keep you folks posted.

edit: LOL.. I see you guys are on the thread with him while I have been in PM . Yep, he's gonna get lots of info.

Yes being a 3 pack a day smoker or whatever-he might somewhere in the future get to zero nic but I have a feeling that he'll go your route & never quit. This will be interesting to watch between his "success" to how people either embrace or shun him for changing sides.

Interesting indeed...although I saw him asking about Chantix not that long ago... he may not be ready to take the leap yet.

It's going to be tough for him to get quickly to zero nic from that level, I was "only" 45-50 per day, although for 40 years and I probably won't get to zero for ages if ever, not that I really care. Not coughing my guts out on a daily basis is freedom enough for me.

But smoking 70 per day is going to kill him, in all probability. Frankly he's just the kind of guy who may derive real benefit from the e-cigs, no matter what, NOTHING could be as bad as 70 per day, that is nearly constant chain smoking. If he gets shunned I'm going to be appalled, he really needs help or his kids, if he has any, are going to be fatherless. Chain vaping 36mg all day long will be an improvement for him.

I can tell you one thing, if he gets any condemnation of any sort, here (unlikely) or on QSMB, I'll be springing to his defence.

Cheers

Ugh!!! does anyone else ever get an every juice you have tastes nasty day? Maybe I haven't drank enough today I dunno... I'm going to put this thing away for awhile its irritating. I'm glad I can do that without having a nic fit now though.

I do occasionally. I wonder if that ties in with the sore tongue. Just wondering because I seem to remember having both at the same time. For me it usually means I'm just hitting the hookah doodle too much. I have a tendency to do that occasionally. Sometimes I even find myself drawing on the thing and not pushing the button. Not sure what's up with that.

You know I didn't think about that... since I got the ego I am hitting it a lot more...because it is sooo much better than the 510. I'll just take a break for awhile and then watch myself. Eventually It'll taper off naturally as it did with the 510. Thanks for the tip.

Shannon, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
I share a quit date with Fonedude (March 10, 2011) and Friday will be our 3 month quit date.
I'm really enjoying this thread. Wish I could post more but by the time I catch up with you guys on the final page, I don't have time to formulate a sensible thought. You guys are all over the place on topics lol. Just know I am reading and smiling, feeling like I know you all pretty well at this point. And please pardon my grammar (ugh) because while I *used* to pride myself on my writing and spelling, it seems that I have lost all skill in the 10+ years I have devoted to being a stay at home mom.
By the way, what exactly does vegemite smell like?

112 pages? I'm not even reading. I had no internet for 24 hours. Quit date? Don't remember. I know I smoked a pack of cigs last week. Never again. I felt lethargic the day after. I couldn't concentrate on anything. Although, I really wonder what it is that did that. Was it just the nicotine, or was it everything else?

She did agree she'd rather see someone just use nicotine than smoke though.

I wanna know wth I did that deserved 3 people jumping down my throat.

And I noticed nobody seems to be coming up with proof of my supposed .... starting.

Hey Shannon, I don't think you need to apologize for any of your posts, even the original ones. The ones that got posted there, might have been weighted on the side of sarcastic but it was truth you were speaking. I don't see where you called anyone an arseh0le. You can always find a post taken out of the context of the thread and make it sound different or worse than it was within it's original context. Just my take on it.

My vote is the everything else making it difficult for the blood to carry oxygen.

Peanut butter tobacco.... interesting.

You know I got some tobacco carts with my ego. I'm in the mood for some tobacco but they're high strength... I forsee insta headache in my future if I try them.

Alot of the "tobacco flavors" out in the wild these days has a nutty, peanut buttery flavor added. Most I've seen steer a course between nutty/pb and smoky/piney, with slight variations for RY4 (carmel/vanilla added), etc. My current supply from a recent honeyvillevapor sale is all on the PB side for flavor.

How would you expect to feel after you ran into a burning house and suffered smoke inhallation? :) If you've spent any time away from analogs, your body was prolly pretty p.o'd that you went back and rebelled!
