No worries. :)

BTW, I'm going to "recuse" myself from your contest (not that I think I was going to win). I wouldn't want anyone to feel like you're playing favorites or anything, seeing as you're on my friends list. It's was fun though and I've enjoyed reading other's entries. Even the ones that aren't haiku.

God, I do. I just retired after nearly 40 years of Big Iron work.

And don't write off mainframes just yet, they still rule banking, insurance, airlines and gov. :)

Cheers

Not to mention the trend to move everything to the "cloud". I know that's more storage than anything right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if general computing horsepower goes in that direction either.

I'm not, by any means... IBM's mainframe service and deployments have gone back up the past six/seven years (at least).

I'm just not missing them when they go away. It's not like we're not virtualizing big hardware now anyway. We just reduced the safety controls, reliability, and err.... wait.. crap. We're just doing it without z/OS now. -Magnus

It's a member contest, the only COI rule has to do w/ the vendors... and I don't have any encouragement, discounts, freebies, etc. from Vermillions.

If you win and choose to let it go to someone else, so be it... but if you're favorited toward the top I'm not going to take it away from you. -Magnus

Could've fooled me... :)

Really? I posted a little disclaimer about it but a few people have questioned it. I find it odd that if I state that it's without relation to Vermillion's ownership people still assume it's somehow with benefit to me financially. Hrmm. -Magnus

Doctor today and the vaping inquisition of the new Doctor begins. See if I can find out what his position is, has he even heard of vaping, etc.

I'm not horribly optimistic but he is going to hear the refined vaping pitch. When I took my records in last week one of his receptionists was smoking an analog outside. So I'll start there with a 808 and a few cartos. See how she takes it. -Magnus

S.O.S. HELP! I just received my kit. I read the user's manual, but I still don't know in what hole to drop the liquid. I want to know if I drop it in the inner or outer hole. I know the outer hole is for vaping. That is logical. I got a T-Rex Carto Deluxe. Please help me! Thanks in Christ Jesus. Orly

Your cartomizers look like they have a small center whole and a foam wrapping, right? Those shipped with Boges that last I saw them.

If so then hold your carto at a 30 degree angle and drip down the inside outer whole so it soaks into the white roam. Drip ten drops and slowly rotate it to the other side and do ten more. If they're completely dry you can get between 20 and 25 drops without over-saturating them. With practice you start feeling out the 30-drop range but not yet.

After you vape a while you can top them off the same way with 5 to 10 drops every so often.

Good luck! -Magnus

This is good for the first filling.

Gets it good and saturated.

He does forget to tell you to wipe it off really well before attaching it to your PV. But I think that's obvious.

Also i usually let it sit for a few minutes so the filling can absorb the liquid.

Just to add on to what Magnus said, the threaded part, where it mates to the battery, keep the condom on. If you take a bent paper clip or a binder clip (something L shaped) and pop off the soft rubber cap (the mouthpiece), you can see the filling. Drip liquid down in there, keep it on the fill portion (white fluffy stuff). The condom end, at the threaded portion, will keep juice from exiting out that side. I usually drop about 10 drops, rotate it in my fingers, drop 10 more drops on the dry (or more dry) portion of the filling. Put the white soft rubber cap back on, screw into battery, enjoy.

Another thing I like to do, with the condom on, is swing the carto in a circular motion (centrifugal force) to push the liquid towards the condom/threaded portion. This allows a full fill. Alternatively, you can use a syringe to push the liquid all the way to the bottom.

Looks like I should add this one to the list of stuff Dog and I should do :)
