Beth, I wouldn't let the thread they posted over at "the other place" discourage you from replying here or anywhere else for that matter.
That may be exactly what they want you to do but whatever you feel is best should be the way to go not bullying tactics. Even though I have asked you some of those same questions as they did
I don't wish you to cave into pressure from "alleged friends" to make them happy.:glare:
Your main concerns should be making yourself happy and keeping your quit!

Thanks-no one likes being told their wrong & I enjoy reading stuff on other websites & that has never gone over well-I guess once you've "committed" to a site its forbidden to increase your knowledge of this addiction elsewhere, doesn't matter cause when sept 9 rolls around & under alot of heartache & headaches I managered not to cave thats when I'll quit posting & continuing on my own. That way maybe I'll make 2 yrs.

Sept 9 will mark my 1st yr of freedom-thats what keeps driving me forward-i know thiers some that know what in the past has made me cave & I basically refuse to lose my quit just because some who are allowed to post whatever & can be mean & rude while doing so & to lose it over petty bull.... would be too much. I put in alot of hard work to throw it away now.

Well do not cave....use other options if necessary but do not cave!

We are here for you...I am sure there are others in your area to talk to if you need an actual physical person to talk to...

Perhaps you could simply ask some of the people you like here and other forums for their phone numbers!

By the way, I could use more suggestions over on the UK forum in the E-cigs 101 thread, specifically info for Canadian and UK suppliers.

Are supplies tricky to get in Canada?

In answer to your question Randy - yes, supplies are tricky to get into Canada.

A non-Canadian supplier must know about "Canuck" or "stealth" shipping, ie: not mentioning nicotine or ecigs anywhere on the invoice or packaging - that way it stands a chance of making it across the border more easily.

Health Canada is not our friend here at the moment, but there is a valiant group of Canadians working on getting e-cigs "legitimized" hopefully sooner rather than later.

There are many reputable suppliers in Canada - those who sell nicotine e-juices and those who don't.

Right off the top of my head I can recommend evapers.com, electro-vapers.com, cdnvapor.com, nicfitnation.com, juicyclear.com, mapleleafvapes.com and happyvaper.com. All of these are excellent people to deal with.

There are others, lots of others and more opening everyday.

Looks like it. I am 215 miles just up I-35 from you. (Per Google Map) I am in Farmington, MN.

My brother lives in Farmington.

He says he saw a llama running down his street last night.

Yours I presume?

Every time he comes up for a visit he picks up bags and bags of Old Dutch.

I'd like to note that proposed and likely to be implemented Canadian Internet rules will make this even more difficult. If you're in Canada and not already working with solutions like Tor (and associated tools) then any amount of safe shipping might be undone by your Internet footprint. -Magnus

Thanks Kat, I gave XBB a list for a friend earlier, I'll add yours to the list.

Thanks for the help-I get like this every so often but deep down I refuse to give an inch & lose this-in the past anytime someone would cross me or be mean or rude I'd use that for an excuse to smoke & realized it doesn't hurt other posters when you throw away your quit you're only shooting yourself in the foot letting anyone push you to that point & no one deserves that "honor".

Good Magnus keeping your eyes peeled and suggesting options .....I actually try to keep an updated version on my backup drv JIC...its not perfect but it does provide some measure of protection if used properly...signing off nasty huge storm coming in...and the local copper thieves keep cutting the grounds off poles around here...

Ive seen that a lot in this world. Ppl that crave power, and will use any bit they are given to abuse others. I've never quite understood that.
But opinions only count if you allow them to. I prefer the attitude that one must earn my company. Cause lets face it...the worlds not ALL good people. But it sure does make ya appreciate one when ya find them. :p
