To all of you who are so generously donating flavors to Orly might I suggest we also send
1 510 carto or atty for him to try out these flavors? I know he got a kit which would have limited carts to fill.
Madman I think if you could whip him up something very close to a Newport or Dunhill flavor that would be awesome!
He really hasn't tried any kind of DIY and I think it would hamper his progress to attempt that right now but he should definitely try your DIY!
I don't think he truly knows how great the flavors can be and Orly I suggest you try all the flavors we send to you just so you can see how unnecessary it is to only use tobacco type flavors and how great the flavors do vape. I'm sure you will find many you will like.:vapor:
Many thanks and big hugz to Mustang Sallie,MagnusEunson, MadmanMcguyver, Big Chief, phonedude for offering to help send some sample to Orly.
I hope I didn't leave anyone out?

It took me about 2 months to get fully off cigarettes, but it wasn't because I wanted to smoke. I had initial problems with hardware, then liquid strength, then finding the right taste. In all, I smoked maybe 6 packs during that time, and I hated every single last one of them. It was a relief when everything finally fell into place, and by that time I had no trouble at all staying away from them.

If I had known then what I know now, I have no doubt I could have quit completely the very first day and never looked back.

I don't believe he specified but I think it would be wise to send a variety of strengths so if 24mg is too high he can go down to a more suitable level. He may not know about the symptoms from using a juice that is too high for you.
I didn't know why I was feeling so fuzzy headed from juice I had used my first time and I only knew one person who vaped and they neglected to tell me! DC2 I would love it if you could give him some practical measures and advice on the everyday use of a pv or "getting to know your pv"! You are really great at putting articles together imho so could you help with that?
MadmanMcGuyver I have some nicotine in a pg base if you need it at 36 or 48mg I'm not home as you know so I don't know!:p
Thank you for the offer of juice DC2 and ClayK. :)

I think John Phoenix did all that when he got him started?

I haven't heard that he is having any particular issues.
But if so, it would probably be better to have him note any particular issues he is having so they can be addressed directly.

I don't know if he is using cartridges or cartomizers, but if cartridges then you might also want to direct him to this...

And if cartomizers, then I can't be of any help there.
I have only used cartomizers for one day, which was long enough for me to hate them.
:)

As far as advice on nicotine strength, this is what I would say...
Just make sure you are getting enough that you don't feel a strong desire to smoke a cigarette.

If you are getting too much nicotine, your body will tell you in no uncertain terms, believe me.
You will get a bit nauseous, and start getting a bit of a headache.
You will most definitely know, that's for sure.

Over time, you will find it gets easier and easier to reduce the nicotine level as you go forward.
But the important thing in the beginning is to get off the cigarettes with whatever strength you find necessary.

I honestly don't know if he's kept in touch with John but he and I are talking so I'm trying to help wherever I can. I will be sending Orly's address to those who want to help him with samples after I talk with him tonight.
Thank you for the helpful info DC2.:D
