Well, were not addicts anymore. We can take a puff and not care, or look back, for various reasons. Cold turkey insures you remain in that state of waiting to break, and go right back. But for us....its just not a threat anymore. Maybe thats why some boards just hate us. So long as ciggies control your thoughts, your still a bit of a slave to em I guess, even if you dont smoke em. Id almost feel bad for some ppl, knowing those thoughts just eat at em all day...but I dont like some ppl, so it'll stay "almost".

and then theirs my varmint pistol...22 pellet revolver for rats...they wont go away...bout the only animal I get perturbed enough to deal with harshly...anything else I catch and toss outside...but Rats well they're nasty and leave droppings everywhere and traps don't always kill and poison is a slow lingering death(not my worst enemy let alone an animal that outside my house I would leave alone)......because of that I can hit a 2 in target at 50 paces...

Real cheap ammo...well actually mine isn't...

I can stand all sorts of critters in the house, but rats and mice are not among them. Dirty, foul, little beasts with beady eyes... NO!

Not sure what the laws are where you live, but discharging a firearm within city limits is highly frowned upon here. Even in your own house.

Not a fan of poison and with cats running around it isn't smart to use. I abhor glue traps. I may not want rats and mice in the house, but I don't think they should suffer a very slow and painful death either. Live traps or the "T-Rex" types are the only ones I'll use. Fortunately, I haven't seen any in the house since moving here.

I thought the cats WERE the traps. Im no cat fan, but let me get a rat problem, I'm bringing home some felines. :p...hard to watch though, as some cats love to "toy" with em before they finish em off. Theres just no easy way to kill off a rat.

We have dogs with high small prey drives... cats would wind up being running chew toys...I'm amazed they left my ferret alone...he got one on the nose and after that they all left him alone...2 eventually let him sleep with them...

and yes she is...but she is a rescue and earned her keep anyway the first month she was here...10 rats in a day...

Cops have to work 24/7. Why aren't donuts fresh 24/7? This is an unacceptable way to treat our men and women in uniform. And our lazy Celtic-Persian night owl keyboard warriors too.

Demand. Donuts. -Magnus
Anyone ever come across a dunkin donuts recipe?.....Thats just sounding reeeeal good right now.

Behind you
I've got a NetSDR up and running and it beats the pants of my older FlexRadio.

I've been mixing some partial bottles of various juices and have decided that was a bad idea.

I've been catching up on box scores.

Basically I've been doing everything I can to avoid actual productive work.

And now I'm here. ;-) -Magnus
