I can't have her on ignore! Her posts are so interesting and informative, and I'm an ecig user, so you know I must be weak!

Its the only way I personally can read the threads. I would end up banned otherwise. And I really don't care about her opinion on anything, especially e-cigs. Oh the electricman got added also. Makes browsing there so peaceful. LOL

any of you here still using "regular" carts with your attys? keep hearing about the "fluval" batting replacement and was wondering if anyone here had an opinion about it.

I mainly use boge LR cartos with my Riva SE, but sometimes when I don't want to drip I'll pull out a cart for my atty. Running 50/50 juice right now, and the stock batting can't really keep up (and I'm trying not to push it very fast either).

Not a big deal, but was curious nontheless...

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/52430-ptb-straw-mod-ptb-made-easy.html I swear by it as a cart mod.

People still have a home landline?

I just got it a month or so ago - we hadn't had a land line since early 2007! I was trying to cut down on paying for our cell minutes but I ended up putting them back at 1400 so I'll prbably cancel the land line again, lol.

Absolutely correct CB...there is NO excuse for that kind of behavior. There's a handful over there that seem to think it's their responsibility to look over new members first to see if they are worthy of membership. :?:

They constantly like to talk about the "hundreds" they've saved. I suppose that's better than mentioning the "thousands" they've scared away.:(

Which is ironic, considering QSMB started (from what I've read) because of the terrible treatment they were getting from the hardcore members at whyquit.

Oh well... I was looking for something else for my husband. Maybe this will be it, if he can get past the button. Of course I also have the GoGo, so I could have given that to him to try.

IS he maybe one of those whio is "missing something?" Maybe he needs to try snus or Orbs as a suppliment. No matter the flavor or strength of the e-cig, my husband didn't find them completely satisfying until he got the snus.

I have a few of them on ignore, but lately I've been reading the posts anyhow to see if they warrant posting the rules in response. Otherwise I do not respond at all to Kate. Brad has been staying in the rules for now. Elctricman is dangerously on the line with his comment about "this is one of the major problems with e-cig people they keep the "blinders" on" because it could be considered condescending, rude, inflammatory, ridiculing and denigrating - so I posted a reminder.

I think what he's missing is any real desire to quit. :( I normally don't pester him, it never worked for me and more often than not it aggravated me when people would push. I might have to pull the old "you're killing the dogs" card a few times and see if it helps. If that doesn't work, I'll keep at it but try and keep it light. Maybe it will eventually occur to him that this is more enjoyable than smoking. The real test will be when his current supply of cigarettes runs out, will he give the e-cig an honest try, or go out and buy more cigarettes. If he buys more, will it be a few packs or a whole carton. I'm still working on it, not going to give up so easily now that I have my foot in the door.

Keep on with what you're doing. Just remember that guys don't like nagging wives. :)

That goes both ways Nate!

Funny that he says we try to hide something then posts a link to the Health section here at ECF. It's hidden so well...

Yeah as if we haven't read those posts at all.
"Quit Paranoid Thoughts Forum" anybody?

Maybe somewhere in this world there is such thing as a nagging husband. He probably hangs out with unicorns, leprechauns, and Big Foot. :)

I wasn't insinuating that Sallie is a nag. She's never given me the impression.

Before I quit smoking, any time my wife made a comment about my habit, I felt as though she was nagging me to quit. That might not have been her intention; that's just how it felt.

I nag my wife about leaving things all over the house.

She basically puts things down wherever she is when she is done using them.
And I am always picking things up and putting them back where they go.

I used to think she was leaving death traps out so she could get my money.
I would get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and trip over high heels sitting in the middle of the floor.

I've since discovered that's just the way she is.
Although the fact that she leaves a lot of things right at the top of the stairs does give me pause.

I can't address that Health subforum post because I never go in there.

I figure if anything important comes to light it will make it to the main forum so no need to spend time in there.
That is a dark and scary place!!

I've wandered in a few times and I normally back out very very slowly.... Every once in a while though, something interesting comes up.

I'll have you know I have done studies to prove the existence of "Bigfeet", the "nagging hubbygetoffusmyassus" and the quite prevalent "paranoid devolving duh brain syndrome".
It's true!
